"We have a lovely stay at the Kedleston house while attending a wedding near by. Room was nicely spacious and clean. The bed and pillows were comfortable. Breakfast was cooked on order and the portions were quite generous. Ample parking on the way. To the usual old country home style the rooms were heated quite warm, which created a nice cosy environment against the british autumn weather outside. "This is a lovely friendly pub with excellent staff. The locals were welcoming as well. The beer brewed on the premises was excellent as was the food. I can't fault our stay there. Plenty of parking at the pub now, with a new car park. Handy travel time to Critch, Matlock and the Peak District. Located on the side of a steep hill, so walking anywhere is a good bit of exercise!"
