"First time staying at a Vrbo. Property was away from everything which was good for stargazing. Did enjoy our stay as Big Bend was only about 30 minutes away and Study Butte / Terlingua were only 20 minutes away."

"Super cool place! My husband and I had a blast. We brought two coolers and our water and we chilled out and just loved it. It’s roughing it a little but, but nothing that people who like to camp can’t handle. We will be back!"

Alpine was beautiful but hard to eat there. Cash only in alot of places and alot doesnt open till 5. go to v6 coffee bar in marathon tx its close to alpine and they have great coffee and a great selection of healthy foods. Great location.

Alpine seemed pretty grim. Finding someplace affordable to eat on Sunday evening was difficult.

It is small historical town we visited during our trip to Big Bend National park. It is beautiful at night during clear sky. You will get to see milky-way bend. Over night stay in Holiday Inn Express in Alpine, TX was terrible.
