Great visit after covid
What a beautiful place to enjoy the peace and quiet of nature. The place was very clean and well cared for. I really enjoyed walking back in the Jordan canyon area for a nice walk in nature, my mom and I actually encountered a Moose and her calf.

Winter Vacation
Our family spent a week at the cabin after Christmas for a winter vacation. With five of us, each son had their own bedroom. The cabin was exactly as it was described and even more beautiful with all the rustic decorations. We were excited to see both moose, mule deer and elk at the cabin. The town of Alpine is very quaint and close for convenience. We enjoyed the scenic drive to Jackson several days which was a thirty minute commute. Snowmobiling in the Teton and Yellowstone National Parks was our favorite activity. There are many snowmobile trails close to the cabin too. Grand Targhee ski resort was a beautiful hour and half drive next to the Palisades Reservoir. We had a foot of snow on New Year's Day and a snow blower cleaned the driveway. It also made for a beautiful walk along the snow covered roads and trails behind the cabin. We would recommend this cabin and would love to return during the summer.

Absolutely amazing cabin in a great location!
This cabin is the perfect place to stay if you're looking for a quiet getaway, with easy access to the Grand Tetons/Yellowstone. The cabin has everything you need to feel right at home, with an amazing view while sitting on the deck. We would absolutely stay here again, I would recommend this place to anyone travelling to this area. I can't say enough great things about the hosts. They go above and beyond making sure you and your family have a great stay. Easily a 5 star rating for this cabin!!

4 bedroom house
You can't ask for a better layout of a vacation house. The main section has the up dated kitchen, living, dining and on either side of the great area are 2 bedrooms & baths. The deck runs the length of the house in the back with plenty of furniture tho we did have to ask for the cushions. The owners were outstanding with their communication and helpfulness. We did run into a problem on check-in with the septic system but that was handled asap being a holiday weekend. The house had comfortable beds tho the risers were a little too high. The kitchen was a good size but unfortunately we had to clean out/move the previous renter's items.(fridge had 2 half shelves available; no room in cabinets until we pushed everything back, freezer was 3/4 full.) On the plus side it was updated and well equipped. The livingroom area was nice with comfortable seating. Overall, a pretty home but for us we felt decor cluttered, needed brighter lighting, and the road noise from the highway was noticeable on the deck and in the bedroom at night.

Dad's 90th Birthday Dream Trip
This was my Dad's 90th birthday dream trip. We all fell in love with the "cabin" the moment we drove in. You will love looking at the detail and thought that has gone into the making this unique home. From the barn beam to the bark wood trim to the decor. We loved sitting on a ridge looking down on the town of Alpine. It was the first thing we did when we got up in the mornings. Split floor plan with 2 bedrooms on each side and one bath per side. Perfect for families or groups. There isn't anything that Sue and Tony have missed. A fully equipped kitchen, which can be rare in a rental. I always look for plenty of seating and dining seats if I am traveling in our group. Plenty of seats for everyone! There is washer and dryer so no need to over pack, always a bonus! There is a wood burning fireplace and a gas stove. We'd sit in the evenings enjoying the fire as we visited. We can't think of anything that needs to be added. Even power strips in the bedrooms to plug in all that extra stuff we now travel with! We were VRBO owners ourselves so I'd say we are critical as to what a vacation place should have. Thank you Sue and Tony for sharing your lovely "cabin" with our family.

Beautiful home, beautiful property, great location
This rental is a wonderful home away from home. The house itself is extremely clean and well equipped with everything you need to feel at home. The beds are all very comfortable which is always a bonus when traveling! The deck was our favorite place to hang out and enjoy the amazing weather and beautiful views. And we even had a couple deer visit us while sitting out there. We would chose this house again in a heartbeat.

Fine property but...
So we stayed there in March 2018. Area is nice enough but remote with plenty of trails and wildlife. Plenty of snow at that time of year. Cabin is full of decorative breakable items so not recommended for young children. We came with teenagers and a baby and had to improvise a bit as there is no crib or high chair. We had a good stay. Upon leaving we made sure we cleaned the cabin properly, ( fridge, bins emptied, kitchen, bed sheets in laundry basket, we replenished the toilet paper, kitchen towels, tissues,...) we even washed and dried the towels, despite having been charged a hefty cleaning fee . But that wasn't enough. Oh no. Presumably the owners expect you to clean their property from top to bottom including the windows while you also have to pack, drive to the airport, return the rental car and make it to your plane on time. All that with kids and a baby in tow... We got the surprise that our deposit was refunded minus bank charges ( ?? ) and a threat to charge us even more for cleaning...until we shouted louder and that was dropped. So, unless you feel like paying to play Cinderella for someone's else's property i would not recommend it just because the owners are so unreasonable.
