I’ll start with the positives- the views are great from the house & the location is nice and quiet. The property manager got back to me quickly when the code they gave us didn’t work for the garage door. The house is stocked nicely with fresh towels, dishes, toiletries. Etc. But after that this house needs to be renovated. There’s a slant in the floor on the kitchen and the deck doesn’t feel secure. The decor is dated and the king bed upstairs is hard as a rock. I know everyone has different preferences for firmness in mattresses but this was ridiculous. I know most mountain homes don’t have AC and it wasn’t listed on the listing but this house gets up to like 87 in the summer because of how it’s facing. So when you check in at 4pm it’s a sauna. One of the property managers did let me know that I should leave all the windows open at night and it drops to the 50’s. So we were able to cool it off but it would be nice to know this ahead of time. It felt like the propane stove was on but after we checked the thermostat several times and all of the switches we could find we guessed it was the pilot light giving off that much heat. The picture of the bedroom with all of the books is accurate but the books are all gynecology & midwifery books-not like I’m going to “dive into” a book like that on vacation or any time. The garage code is the only way into the house and you walk right into a car parked there “for storage”. The garage door sounds like it’s going to fall apart at any time & the code box cover falls off when you lift it up. My husband has an oversized pick up truck and we could barely fit in the driveway. Those pics are definitely not accurate. The basement isn’t finished and had a weird smell. I have never written a review like this for a VRBO since using several in the past 5 years but this house is in need of some loving care! When you’re paying to stay at a vacation getaway for the price we’re paying you expect something nicer than your grandmothers hand me downs. Less is more regarding decor & clutter.

I had special inquiry regarding snowmobile parking. No response. She was aware we were coming to ride because she said enjoy the snow. We had to try and turn around a 27’ trailer on a single tract road. Also the house is not as advertised. It’s straight out of the 70’s.

The property was dirty, the door was broken, grill filthy dirty, bedsheets with stains. I’m disappointed because they charge a huge cleaning fee and the property was filthy dirty. The porch smelled like their was a dead animal, shower had to clean it because water would not come out.

Cozy Cabin, Great View, Fun Vacation
We had a great time staying in this Alpine home over the holidays. We traveled with 6 adults and 4 kids (2 of which are adult sized!). At first I was concerned that it would be a little too cozy for comfort, but all 10 of us fit quite well. The kitchen had more items and gadgets than we needed to use. My only complaint here is that I wished that there were some larger pots/pans for the larger groups to make cooking easier, but we made it work. Beds were super comfortable. Having the use of the garage during the winter was an added bonus we weren't expecting. Our kids had a great time playing in the snow and sledding down the street. The cabin was convenient to Jackson Hole (about an hours drive that is lovely). We didn't really eat or shop in Alpine though our football fans had a great afternoon in the local saloon one day. We skied at Grand Targhee one day, and while it was a long drive, it was a great location to ski for us. I would definitely stay here again if we make it back to the area and would recommend it to others as well. Jenn was great at communicating with us before and during our stay as well. Wasn't necessarily a fan of Evolve being involved (first time there was someone else to deal with besides the owner through HomeAway), but it wasn't terrible either.

Terrific location! Beautiful mountain setting!
Everything was just as described. It's a large cabin with a lot of sleeping space. The location was perfect for us - near the Palisades Lake and not too far from Jackson Hole and the Grand Tetons / Yellowstone National Parks. Plenty of parking space. Great decks. Kitchen could be a tad larger, but it is fully stocked with dishes, pans, etc. We loved our time there!

Love it
This place is so relaxing and well kept! Me and my friends have stayed there a couple of times and have LOVED our experience there!! In a great location- close to Jackson Hole, and there are great hiking areas around it! Go in the winter and the hill is SO fun to sled on, go in the summer and there is so much to do in Jackson! I will be making it a goal to stay here atleast once a year!! Book your reservations~ Its so worth it!!!
