"All we wanted for our trip was a cozy cabin nestled in the woods, and that's exactly what we got! We loved having easy access into the state forest and exploring amphibians, trees, and mushrooms on the property. Heather and Robert are absolutely wonderful - they got the cabin heated up prior to our arrival and supported us every step of our stay. We think the cabin is pretty clean and roomy. "The house was adorable and perfect for our relaxed little family of four and fur kids. We are easy going and really don’t need too much. With that said it was a rainy weekend and the walk from our vehicle to the house was extremely wet, socks, shoes, bottom of pants soaked. A nice little stepping stone walkway would be awesome. "We had an energizing experience but there were a few things I think should have been addressed. Jacuzzi was not clean so we didn't feel comfortable using it, dusty/dirty under bed, only a few pieces of fire wood, and lastly the trash cans outside over flowing with no room to empty the trash. "The cabin was amazing, cozy and private. My only suggestions would be to provide bug spray or citronella candles. Bugs weren't crazy but those tiny mosquitoes were such an annoyance. As long as we kept moving, which we did, we weren't bothered. The properties little trails were fun, lots of surprises and areas we could sit and meditate for short periods. "Really nice but only problem is the condensation on the windows that causes my bag wet overnight and shower door has gaps in between and the floor was wet after finishing shower. But I will definitely be back and stayed there !! Housekeepers were extremely nice !!!!!"
