"We booked a one BR Apartment for a family of 4 including 2 kids (5 yo). The apartment and the bathroom was spacious and fully equipped. The sofa bed in the living room converted to a pull out bed (unfortunately it is the most uncomfortable bed for 2). The location of the hotel is excellent, with 2 minutes walk to the famous Arbat Street. There are plenty of supermarkets around, with a huge Magnum store just across the road in Lumier building. "

"The room was nice. The bed was confortable to lay on. The location was good you can easily walk around the city but there was no nearby convenient store. They have separated bathroom and toilet which we didnt like. No bidet. Amenities are always available. "

"Had a good stay here. Staff were friendly and spoke good English. I didn’t use the spa facilities but I was given a tour and they looked fantastic. A shame I didn’t have enough time to partake. Breakfast was ok. I found the room very warm and needed to open the window during -15c to cool down a bit. The radiators didn’t seem to be adjustable."

"Прекрасный отель. Даже не смотрите по сторонам. В самом лучшем месте Алматы, до Достык Плазы 700 метров. Персонал очень вежливый и помогает во всем. Завтраки приносят в номер во сколько вы пожелаете. Даже местные на геликах и других дорогих машинах в этом отеле останавливаются. Вообщем цена качество просто супер. Особенная благодарность Ансару "

"We weren't very pleased with this place. For starters, we found out upon arrival that we had to pay 6000 tenge for two people/two nights. Below is the only mention of potential fees: "Hotel fees The price DOES NOT include any applicable hotel service fees, charges for optional incidentals (such as minibar snacks or telephone calls), or regulatory surcharges. The hotel will assess these fees, charges and surcharges upon check-out." The staff claimed this was a newly imposed tax from Feb 2023....

"Park Dedeman Almaty offers superior experience services compared to the average Almaty hotel. The English-speaking staff facilitated smooth communication. While the room was clean and comfortable, I think it could benefit more from additional amenities to improve and meet international hotel standards. "The Plaza Hotel is a decent place to stay in Almaty. The rooms are clean, well equipped and comfortable. The breakfast is good but not amazing but as it’s a buffet I’m sure there’s plenty there to satisfy everyone. It’s not the most central hotel but the area around is safe and the river makes orientating yourself in the city quite easy. Get Yandex Go the ex-Soviet equivalent of Uber and getting around costs next to nothing and is very quick and efficient. Would I stay here again? Absolutely!...
