"This is an excellent pub. The service was exceptional, the food was very good and the ambience and atmosphere fantastic. This is a characterful old building with lots of books and crannies. Good beer too. The accommodation is good - a little like motel accommodation at the back of the pub in separate purpose-built buildings. It was comfortable and suited our needs well. Would definitely return. "

"Clean hotel room separate from the pub. It was a cheap price and comfortable with everything that you could need with a full sized kettle and TV. It was a little dusty in some places and I got the feeling it hadn’t been stayed in a little while. Continental breakfast was good and enough to have something you liked. Overall would stay again."
