"A lovely little out of the way hotel with plenty of parking. Staff are super friendly and couldn't do enough to help. Food was delicious, all locally sourced and even the locals were friendly. Recommend and would stay again. Would have been a 5* review but I couldn't get on the room wifi with any of my devices due to the Stampede client they used, but the staff even tried to help with this. Had to use the slower bar wifi instead."

"Great, short stay at The Quay. Room was cosy and had all we needed, plus a sea view. It was clean, quiet and we had a great night sleep. Owners/staff were very polite on arrival, breakfast (which was delicious) and departure. Good location within a very short walk from the high street, bars etc but far enough away to be quiet. "From the moment we arrived, to the moment we left, we had nothing but friendly attentive service from the staff at the pub. We were fortunate to be upgraded from a room in the pub to one of the relatively new lodges. The lodge was immaculate on arrival and very comfortable and well equipped. We had breakfast included and this was first class with locally sourced food included. We had two evening dinners at the pub and both were excellent from the very varied menu on offer. "

"Just returned home from a lovely stay at The Sandrock in Lynton. The Sandrock is a little out of the way of the main high street but still only a 5 minute walk to the shops etc. We stayed in room 4 which was clean and well appointed, the en suite was spacious (huge infact!)and the towels really fluffy, it was also super clean and tidy. The room had lots of little extras to make it cosy and homely. The bed was really, REALLY comfy, so much so that even my partner who usually struggles when we are...
