Mixed Experience in Cozy Townhouse
Positives: The location was great and the neighborhood was mostly quiet.
Negatives:
- It was difficult to sit the 5 members of my family in the living area because the couches weren’t too accommodating.
- We had check in issues, the cleaner was still cleaning the house when we arrived and was not aware we were coming that day, even though our reservation was for the day before Thanksgiving.
- The tv in the living room was not functional and the lack of batteries in the remotes made it difficult to troubleshoot.
- There were no instructions to the house detailing trash disposal, check out details, and operating the house.
- The beds were incorrectly sized, 2 of the queen beds were actually full beds. This should be updated in the listing.
- There was a lack of essential items in the kitchen and bathrooms, including toilet paper, hand soap, and dish soap.
- There was a limited about of dish ware, especially bowls, there were no eating bowls provided, we had to use mugs instead.
- There was an overflow of outside trash from the previous renters, and it was unattended to which made the property seem unclean.
With a few improvements, this property really has the potential to exceed expectations given the cost of the rental, but unfortunately for us, it didn’t meet expectations at all.
