"Property was quite upmarket, but guests were not made to feel uneasy about this.My only quibble would be why they took a pending payment from my card on arrival, but then on checkout took the payment to settle our bill but the first payment was still pending on our bank account two days later. Who was holding that money in meantime."

"A hotel full of character with modern facilities. Limited hotel parking at extra cost, we got in early. Evening dining was great, high quality food in a pleasant restaurant. Room was pretty good but not great, all together reasonably priced. Very central to the market town of Ludlow, good shops, interesting area with a castle and walks. Recommended, we would stay again. "

"Love the hotel, the grounds lovely, all the staff were friendly and helpful. The only thing was the tv had only four channels, no ITV or channel 4 Or 5. Would have been nice to have these later in the evening. "

"Lovely hotel, but a few hicups. Not normal tea on the tea tray, had to go down to reception for some. Room temperature we fould not controll . Breakfast was definitely not the best ive had at a mercury hotel. Very littel choice. No hash browns, bacon just left out under lights to long so it was hard. "

"Clean rooms, secure area. Thermostat a bit of a pain since it kept going back down to a prearranged temperature, and we were a bit too cool because of it. "

"Spotlessly clean room with very comfortable firm bed, nice bathroom with plenty of products and decent shower. The only downside with the shower was the lack of pressure but that is very minor nit picking. We ate in the restaurant with friends and all enjoyed a lovely meal. Breakfast the next morning was delicious and plenty of options. All in all it was a fabulous stay at the hotel."

"This is the third Christmas my brother and I have stayed at the Leonardo and it just gets better and better. The staff are all outstanding, nothing it too much trouble and they are all cheerful and helpful. My brother loves to swim and I love all the places I can hide away to read. We also visit at other times but Christmas is the best"

"Great family stay. We had the suite which is made up of two interconnected rooms. It was ideal for our three children. Awesome pool and breakfast. Slight issue when arrived regarding bedding but one phone call to reception and this was fixed. Staff couldn’t do enough for you."

"We have a lovely 2 date stay, we had a basement room and beautifully decorated. The Terrace and Gin&Juice were fantastic for dinner and drinks Breakfast and dinner were both delicious "

"Exceeded all expectations. The property is beautiful, cosy, and perfectly set up for large groups. More bathrooms/ensuites than you can count, comfy linen, stocked kitchen, and a table big enough for all guests to enjoy dinner together. "Lovely location with great views across to the Malverns. Located at edge of woods on a smallholding with sheep paddock behind accomodation in annex room above garage block. Very helpful and friendly hosts Mimi and Arthur. Nice woodland walks from the doorstep, would happily return if in the area again."
