"I wanted a low budget one night stay. Although property is old fashioned, my single room, with en suite was very clean and bed was comfortable The breakfast cerea,l yogurt etc was an unexpected bonus. Kettle, microwave and fridge in room. Member of staff on arrival friendly and helpful. I couldn’t get the tv to find any chanels, but not there long enough to enquire about it. Could do with a chair, but overall exactly what i wanted Thank you"

"This was our second stay at the Moorcock and we will definitely be back. The owners and staff are really friendly . The room was clean and had a great view out the front . We ate in the pub every night and the food was great . Had a lovely steak and chips and a good roast dinner . My partner had a burger one night and it was massive and tasty. All the food was piping hot. The views from the pub garden are wonderful . Don't hesitate to book at this property . "

"I was taken to the room, which was somewhat cramped with ever-so-slightly grubby duvets and extremely thin pillows. All acceptable problems I was prepared to deal with (as was the remote for the oddly-placed tele being dead, but that's me being picky) and I was even able to accept the fact that the shower had two settings - literally scalding (the red of my hand taking hours to go down) or too cold to use. The real problem came when I was told I could use my key on the rear door at any time, to...
