"Superbly located property, a few yards away from the lift with great facilities; garage, ski lockers, pool… we checked in online (which we strongly recommend) via the link the property sent which saved us queueing on arrival Saturday (queue was out the door!) - they will send you a SMS with you room number, go there straight away and your keys and instructions will be on the kitchen table. Brilliant! Would return if skiing in Alpe d’Huez again."

Possible to ski directly back to the hotel, however to access the slopes in the morning, approximate 500m uphill walk, which may be an issue with young children/elderly. "The accommodation was pretty much what you'd expect of a budget ski residence, but was a long way from the village centre, the ski lifts, and even the bus stop which supposedly served the hotel. The cooking facilities were less than adequate, but otherwise the room was OK. The staff were pleasant, and we just about managed to make ourselves understood speaking "Franglais." I wouldn't recommend staying here if you don't speak any French at all. There is no oven provided, and our microwave didn't...

"Had not been informed that this is more of an apartment rental than a hotel, and arrived at 10pm to find reception had closed at 8pm- there had been no warning of any closing times! Fortunately our apartment had been left open for us, but there were no sheets on any of the beds! The keys were not left in the apartment and we had to put a table against the door on the first night!
