Our family (2 adults, and 2 adults with a 3 year old and a one year old) stayed here for two nights because of its proximity to Allegany State Park.
We were met by our host, Angela, who escorted us to our accommodation. It was absolutely spotless and looked to be very well cared for. The living area, as well as the kitchen, was spacious.
The kitchen was nicely equipped, huge counter space and a big fridge.
The bathroom was very nice. Large sink. Nice shower. Plenty of towels.
There are three bedrooms. The master was nice and has a queen bed. Bedroom 2, although listed as a twin bed, actually has a full bed. Bed room 3 has a twin bed.
There is a fourth area that is very large and has a full sized ping pong table which we utilized.
The thing that you have to keep in mind is this is a rural area. The property is indeed a working “farmette”, complete with goats and chickens. Our three year old was very interested in the animals and was able to pet the goats, follow the chickens around and watch the goats being milked. The property has assorted farm buildings around.
The pictures of the accommodations themselves are completely accurate. You would never know you are on a farm. It’s a beautiful space.
Lastly, our host Angela, along with her husband were extremely nice and helpful. She’s an educator and really showed a true interest in explaining how things worked at the property and was very helpful in showing our three year old the animals.
A+ experience.
