We could wander around their vast garden, with the fruit trees, vegetable plots and 5 hens and cool off in the pool. The area is very rural with many picturesque villages and towns within an easy drive. The daily trip to get the bread at Saint Genies was a pleasant start to each day. "Wonderful property in the French country side of Dordogne. Philip and Muriel were delightful hosts with a complete book showing everything you would want to know about the property and surrounding area (don't miss dinner at Auberge d"Imbue only 5 minutes away!) Very well appointed with everything you will need for a party of 3 (us) to a party of 20. Very nice, large kitchen with service for at least 15. Very well constructed and finished but still keeping the wooden beams and floors of the barn....

The full house is not together but in 2 different section bit detached to each other. This means that everyone cannot stay together in the same house, which was not expected by us and was not even clear in the description of the property.2. The property is in middle of nowhere.
