For sports enthusiasts, in Siorac-en-Périgord (8 km), you can rent canoes and navigate the Dordogne river. Many hiking trails in the surroundings, some start from Berbiguières. The local grocery store and restaurants are 5 km away.

For swimming, go to Prats-du-Périgord (29 km) or Cazals (36 km). Do not miss the famous medieval city of Sarlat-la-Canéda located 29km away.

Nice, but....
.... The House is old and it was not clean.... It's smells "old" and the toilet was "stinky". The Kitchen had not much instruments. The Property Manager was really nice.

Very peaceful
Very quietly located with no direct neighbours. Perfect place to unwind! It is a well located property to explore the area. Friendly hosts and completely hassle free. The cottage was clean, comfortable and had all essentials available. Would come again and recommend.

Beautiful farm in beautiful fields down a little hill.
Great spot to spend a quiet holiday and enjoy what nature has to offer in its best. The village is beautiful, the Dordogne River is only a hike away.

Point positif: situation geographique Point negatifs: annonce incomplete, equipement plus que spartiate, douche bouchee, odeur dans les toilettes horrible, maison sale ( photo a l'appui) je m'en suis ouverte a la proprietaire qui n'a rien voulu entendre et nous a demande de partir. 1ere fois que cela m'arrive, quelle deception.repondu

Location simple, bien située pour rayonner dans la région
Maison rustique dans un cadre champêtre très agréable (champs, moutons etc.), parfaite pour un couple avec 2 enfants. Très bien située pour rayonner dans le Périgord noir (Sarlat, nombreux "plus beaux villages de France", châteaux, jardins, port d'Envaux pour la baignade dans la Dordogne etc.). Intérieur frais pendant la canicule, pourrait être un peu plus propre, équipement de cuisine basique. Accueil minimaliste des propriétaires...

Un oasis de tranquillité, proche de tous les beaux sites de la Dordogne
Un gîte parfait lorsqu'on cherche la tranquillité, l'espace et la nature. A moins de 30 minutes de toutes les beautés du Périgord. L'intérieur est fonctionnel, et avec le charme d'une ancienne ferme rénovée avec soin.

Belle location, bel emplacement, équipement à améliorer
La location est très jolie, le terrain autour est vaste et bien entretenu. L'endroit est très calme et idéalement placé pour faire des balades. Par contre les papiers pour l'arrivée n'indiquaient pas le bon endroit (sachant que c'est assez isolé). Le ménage n'avait pas été bien fait (poubelle de la salle de bain pas vidée par exemple, plan de travail collant, araignées partout...). La location manque par ailleurs de quelques équipement basique type grille pain, aspirateur, économe, ciseaux, poêle en bon état (une seule avec manche cassé). Très peu de matériel pour faire le ménage (pas de savon, une seule serpillère qui a vécu, un balai, un balai brosse et c'est tout). On a dû acheter pas mal de choses. Même pas un rouleau de papier toilette à notre arrivée...
