"Excellent and frequent communication pre-stay. Warmly greeted upon arrival, shown around the facility before being led to glorious Garden Courtyard room on lower floor. "Booked the hotel because of its proximity to the private hospital, being close to the city, and the apartments being in a quiet area. The apartments are very clean and well maintained. "This is one of the best places we’ve stayed in. We weren’t in the main house but were in the Watarah Cottage at the back of the back of the property. This building was free standing so was incredibly quiet. The kitchen was really well equipped, the bed was very comfortable and there was a whole separate dressing room to store luggage and other stuff. The breakfast in the main house was great…excellent service from Kathy! I highly recommend this place and would stay again if in Hobart. "

"Was really pleasantly surprised at how good the room was for a pub room. The bathroom was very modern, the room was comfortable and the staff were amazing. Would definitely stay again. My only one thing was there was what sounded like a fan that ran outside somewhere overnight so for light sleepers it may irriate light sleepers, but it didn't bother me. "

"Comfortable motel stay just outside of the downtown Hobart area. I would recommend for those with a car, as the hill is quite steep. Always had parking available. Noise wasn’t an issue for me, although folks were drinking in the parking lot quite late (didn’t bother me). If you’re on a budget, a mighty fine stay."
