"A very nice hotel. Friendly staff, very clean and they made a real effort for my”speacil needs” breakfast. Disntbuse the spa but it looked fantastic. A well run hotel with real emphasis on customer service. The only negative thing was that the hotel was “closed” on arrival (12:30 am) and if there had not been a few people in the bar outside I am not sure how we would have got in. "

Our room may be been considered a mini suite, as it contained a very spacious sitting area as well as a balcony. "Started unexpected as the reception closed early, but all possible help was afforded to us to make us comfortable. "Very clean and professionally run. A place where you can tell the owners take a lot of pride in providing a nice place to stay. The breakfast was the best you can get in town, fresh fruit and lot of delicious bread and cheese. Only recommendation for improvement is to have fans in the room, it was very hot day and we were on the third floor which got pretty toasty. "

"First impressions were slightly underwhelming, but ignore those, the hotel is excellent and the staff are great. The food was wonderful and the pool was lovely. To swim and watch kites and eagles overhead is a rare pleasure and now a glorious memory. Criticisms - the room tended to get quite hot and there is public transport but it’s a bit of a walk away, but those a minor criticisms. On the main question - would I go back? Yes. Gladly. Gratefully."

"The room was spacious and comfortable, but certainly not worth the price nor rating of a 4.5 star hotel. Hotels.com boasted "4 restaurants" while in actuality there was only one restaurant with 4 different sitting areas with the same menu and you could not choose in which area you wished to sit. The older staff was also not at all friendly and acted a bit annoyed with every question or request. There were also loud noises with the creaking of the wood steps and hallways."

"We had a cosy family room with a nice balcony view. Even more fortunate, it snowed on our first day. The breakfast was great with a nice variety of bread, cold meat and hot bacon/bratwurst and eggs. Will definitely stay at this place if we ever revisit the region"
