"The owners were lovely and very welcoming with off road parking provided within the grounds. The whole building was full or character and very stylishly decorated to a high level with a selection of D-day memorabilia and information in the dining room. There was a good breakfast included of Croissant/Pain au Chocolate/Pain au Raisin and bread, preserves and cheese together with hot drinks and juice. "Well located for trips out of town, but not ideal for heading in to town as it's quite a walk. A couple of restaurants and supermarket nearby. Breakfast a bit on the expensive side for what it was but overall a nice hotel."

"Rather unusual. Arrival down a lovely farm lane to a old farm being renovated. The charming owner showed us to our accommation, which was to a high standard, very spacious and comfortable. Enjoyed our stay, lovely family doing up the facility and economically priced. Would happily return. "

"Just pulling out La Ferme des Mares, a charming establishment that provides everything except showers and an apology or discount for providing showers. Should you decide to visit, my advice is that you check the hot water before accepting the keys so that you don't have the unhappy experience of discovering an ice cold shower upon waking the next morning. And no one at the reception to assist you until 8:30 AM when you need to check out."

I was delighted to find this accommodation, which was a nice drive both through country lanes but also accessible from the main roads. The reception staff, Fabien and Anne Lyse were very welcoming, helpful and couldnt do enough to ensure my stay was comfortable.
