"I couldn’t fault the staff - absolutely second to none, helpful, friendly and welcoming. The dining - WOW, 5 stars. From supper to breakfast simply delicious and would certainly go there for a celebratory meal - it was that good. I think once the rooms are upgraded to match the quality and refurb of the dining, reception and bar areas The Orange Grove would be top of my list in the area for a wonderful relaxing stay. We will be back!"

"The staff was very nice. The bedroom was very comfortable as were the beds. The breakfast was very tasty and affordable. Parking was conveniently outside. It was nice seeing dogs in the hotel. But unfortunately I stepped on dog poo on the short walk from the hotel entrance to my car which was not pleasant at all. The brown pebbles made it hard to see. All in all I would come back if I was in the are but careful where you step."

This is a town centre pub so noise may be an issue at times but during our stay it was only evident on the friday night (before xmas) which still was not a problem. I would definitely stay...

The park consists of some unique landscape features having developed since the 1870’s with the planting of specimen trees around the lake area, some of which are still present in the park today.
