"The receptionist was not very friendly due to being overworked. The check-in was rushed and unfriendly and the check-out with the same receptionist was again rushed. "We found this place to stay after driving Hohe Tauern Road. This is a wonderful family owned farm with very nice, roomy accomodations mainly geared towards families with young kids but wonderful if you just need a nice break from travel. Very polite and helpful service. Wonderful breakfast buffet, Including farm fresh milk and butter. It was a one night stopover for us but if you need a multi night getaway with your children, this would be very nice. "

"Very noisy hotel, I’d avoid if your looking for a good nights sleep. Coaches pulling up outside throughout the night dropping off and or collection people. Inadequate lifts for size of hotel, just one lift serving two of five floors. No air conditioning even in breakfast room. I will not stay here again. "

"I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the hotel. It was quiet, clean, modern, and a great value. It also included the Zell am See/Kaprun Summer Card which saved us a lot of money at local attractions. The host, Helga, was really nice and answered all of our questions to make our stay even better. We would stay here again."

"We’ve just returned from a fantastic 3 nights in Rauris. The Birkenhof was the perfect little hotel to rest our heads. The staff were lovey and couldn’t do enough for us. Breakfast was delicious and we also enjoyed an hour in the steam room and sauna to ease our aching muscles. Highly recommend and keen to book their suite next time if we bring our three children "

"Great location for ski accessibility. Walkable to some restaurants, but not really to the town of Zell am See. Quick taxi ride. Overall we loved Elements. The pool and sauna were very nice. Laundry onsite was convenient. Ski lockers were super nice with boot warmers and tons of space for 4 people equipment. We had a family room and it exceeded expectations. "

"Incredibly beautiful hotel with high quality services, food and drink, and interior design. Sauna and spa are spacious and inviting. Walls in the rooms are a bit thin, so it’s a little too easy to hear the many ski vacationers’ conversations and music on the balcony next door, but other than that I highly recommend this place. Not even that expensive for everything you get. "

"We stayed two nights on a long weekend, family ski trip. This is one of my favorite resorts we have ever stayed! Highlights were the amazing food (get half board), the pool and sauna area, relaxing atmosphere, kids game room and all of the fun activities the segl family had planned.
