"This is a rural restored farm house. We used it as a base for a day trip (3.5 hrs) to Andorra while being able to make it back to Paris in a day. Visited some nearby wineries as well! Breakfast was good. Room and bath clean with nice hot shower. Only issue was lack of ventilation in room. No ac so had to open windows ( without screens) until attacked by mosquitos!"

"We'd definitely recommend The Squirrel's Nest. A lovely house and owners. Our room was great, spacious en suite bathroom, air conditioning which with temperatures of 40 degrees outside (canicule), was really appreciated, tea and coffee making facilities on the landing. An easy walk into Gaillac for dinner (bring a torch) and not far from routes to Albi and Toulouse. "What an amazingly, beautiful, hotel and Emilie the absolute perfect host. The attention to detail is first class and no effort is spared to make your visit memorable. The bedrooms are superb, the bed is ultra comfortable, the bathroom with walk in shower excellent and thecair conditioning given it was 35 degrees outside such a delight. "Room was small but good for one person. There is a nice restaurant 2 minutes walk away, and the town of Albi 10 minutes driving and worth a visit. The staff was very friendly. Overall very good for the price. "

"Very clean, which we liked, but oddly, there was mold on the ceiling of the shower! the cleaning person needs to look up. Easy to clear up! Otherwise, very nice decor, comfortable room, good location to go into Albi and to get back on the road. Good value. Looking forward to the breakfast!"

"We paid for breakfast and it was terrible, as we went into breakfast room it was divided and walking up to table to get some cold hams and orange juice we were told we had to eat in other part of dining area where there was just bread and waffles and drinks. Everyone was sneaking through to get a yogurt or fresh juice the satff in breakfast area were very rude!! Never stay there look for something don’t always settle for the cheapest it’s not worth it , everyone who was English were complaining...

"The welcome that we got from the owner was wonderful. He was friendly, super helpful and provided lots of information such as where we could park, great restaurants and how to get to the old town which was very walkable. Despite being in a busy area our room was really quiet and the terrace was great! We will definitely stay here again when we are next in Albi."
