This luxurious holiday home is located directly on the water, near the cheese city of Alkmaar. Through the hall you reach the modern, open kitchen with a cozy dining table. From the kitchen you walk into the living room, with various seating areas. You have 2 large bedrooms for 4 people. Ideal for 2 couples or a family. One of the bedrooms is located in the attic. From here you can walk straight onto the roof terrace!

You can stroll in the cheese town of Almaar with its historic center. Go out for dinner in one of the restaurants, grab a terrace on the historic square or drink a cocktail in the modern bars. This holiday home is also less than 12 km by bike from the beach of Bergen!

Enjoy a glass of wine and a tasty snack with a view of the water on one of the sunny terraces, or have a nice meal at the large dining table in the garden. This fantastic garden is completely south facing and offers sun all day long.

Es war ein rundum schöner Urlaub, gekrönt durch die wirklich schöne Unterkunft. Alles was man braucht vorhanden, sehr edel und hochwertig eingerichtet. Was uns nicht bewusst war ist, das dort eine Familie wohnt, die ihr Heim wohl zeitweise vermietet. Das heißt, es steht kein Kleiderschrank zur Verfügung, dadurch sehr beengte Ablage in den Schlafzimmern. Aber für die eine Woche konnten wir uns damit gut arrangieren. Sehr positiv haben wir die zwei separaten Toiletten empfunden. Einziger Kritikpunkt ist die nicht gepflegte Terrasse, die eigentlich super schön ist. Direkt am Kanal, viele verschiedene Sitzmöglichkeiten, sehr groß, und sehr schön angelegt. Wir haben den Außenbereich als schmutzig empfunden. Alles war mit Spinnen zugewonnen, und die schönen Pflanztöpfe neben den Sitzgelegenheiten waren voll mit der Wolllaus. So hatte man kein gutes Gefühl dort zu sitzen. Wir haben die Terrasse somit kaum genutzt. Es wäre schön, wenn das für zukünftige Gäste etwas gepflegter ist. Alles andere, wie schon erwähnt, TOP!
