"The Hotel is a boutique vineyard with outstanding people running it. I cannot say how good it is. The food and wine selection was outstanding. The staff was extremely professional, helpful and caring. We strongly recommend the hotel. "

"The hotel is rather small (a very good thing for me!), but the room I had was large and the bathroom too. It was modern and very clean, with A/C. It was called Mallus and had a French door to the street which meant I had to have the blind down all the time for privacy, really the only drawback to it all. The breakfast is very good, fresh, and the manager very kind and dedicated. I highly recommend!"

"We loved the European style of sharing a large breakfast table with guests at the property. Learning different cultures and about their home countries Home cooking, fresh baked, vineyards all around. The other guests were amazing people who assisted us with translations as needed. The property keepers were an amazing elderly couple who were kind, happy and loving. It is a small village with stone streets, narrow passages and just so much charm. "The hotel is on a square in a lovely part of town, with free parking available on the square and a street back too. The hotel is absolutely beautiful, with a small pool and space to lounge in the sun. The rooms were very clean and the electric blinds kept out the sun brilliantly. The staff didn't speak much english but we muddled through."

"We thoroughly enjoyed staying at this location. Originally we were only going to stay one night but then ended up staying an additional two nights. The property was beautiful and conveniently located. The whole staff treated us like family specially Agnes. She was amazing. She was so helpful and even booked our dinner reservations one night. She’s the reason that we had no hesitation booking additional nights"

"This is an old house, with some interesting history & furnishings. It is not a hotel, it’s a B&B, with 3-4 bedrooms and the owners live upstairs. The ( ensuite) bathrooms are very dated. The ( included) breakfasts are served at 9am, but the staff are very helpful and did provide breakfast earlier when we asked. The house overlooks Regua across the River, it’s only a 20-minute walk into that town which has a couple of good restaurants for dinner. The town of Lamego is further, about a 15-minute...

"Owner failed to block space on Hotel.com platform. He reluctantly accommodated me but guests arriving just afterwards were left furious. Rural location with no dining choices within walking distance. Room ok but at rate I paid way overpriced."

"Spectacular B&B! The suite apartment was stunning, large and comfortable. Sparkling clean and also so beautifully decorated! The balcony has a beautiful view. The common areas are also amazing for hanging by the pool or grabbing a drink. The service was also incredible! Breakfast was delicious and very complete with lots of local charm. "

"A estadia foi agradável, tem algumas àreas de melhoria nomeadamente a manutenção de algumas àreas no exterior, que está a sofrer alguma obras. "My husband & I stayed 3 nights at this apartment. Can’t beat the view from the terrace. Nice home base for all we wanted to do In Pinhão. Took an 8 hour wine tour with Douro Tours…visited wineries, view points, lunch & boat ride….really nice day & our guide Phillip was wonderful! Our favorite places in Pinhao....O'Porco store...really nice older gentleman that recommended olives & cheese via of our translator app. Pra Li Bar...best sandwiches...tried the tuna, chicken & pork...all were so tasty...

Wonderful!

"Wonderful stay. The view is amazing. Smaller vineyard compared to the big and more popular wineries in the area, which is what we like. The drive up is beautiful. About 35 minutes from Pinhao downtown. Moises greeted us and gave us the tasting tour. We didn’t expect to learn such an amazing family history of the people and the farm. Filipa brings us wonderful organic breakfast to our door every morning. You can see her working around the farm from early morning."

"Beautiful place if “lavish” for me. Great staff, super clean, amazing bed and shower, really nice breakfast. Get a room overlooking the water. I ate at The Library Bar both nights (January; very very few options) and It was fine as well as the service. Wineries within walking distance and decent trek right from hotel into the hills "

A Douro Valley Delight

"This is my second time staying at the property and it was the same magical experience. This time around I just wanted to relax and enjoy the property. And that I did! I spent my days enjoying the trails, in enjoying the multiple fireplaces on the property. And of course the dinner. The food wine and port made for an unforgettable stay. "

Amazing hospitality!

"I came as a solo traveler. The stay was quite, safe, comfortable, and clean. I arrived and did not realize the proximity to nearby resturants, for someone without a car. The owners were very kind they made me a salad and sandwich for dinner that evening. There was a continental breakfast included. They even arranged trabsportation the next morning for me. I am extremely grateful for their hospitality and kindness. You can tell how much they care about their property and guests. I would highly recommend. "
