"Property located adjacent to very old olive tree orchard. Scenic mountain back drop with ocean view. Spacious upstairs flat with full amenities. Beautiful pool and garden in the yard. Private driveway. Only 2 cons, must have rental car because located in a hard to access part of Trabia, roads are difficult to navigate. And property owners speak very little English, so just plan to use google translate. Highly recommend if you are looking for the real Sicilian experience!"

"We stayed for 9 nights at the end of July 2024 and had a lovely time. The accommodation is great and large enough for a family of 9 (teens +). The host is brilliant and personally met us despite arriving at midnight. A car is needed to get to any amenities, but within a few minutes drive there are plenty of restaurants and the beaches are fabulous. Recommend a visit and boat trip from Cefalu."

"Elio our host met us at the villa on our arrival. Greated us with a coffee and lovely ice creams, made us feel very welcome and showed us arround. An excellent host! "Fabulous 3 villas set in gorgeous gardens. Ideal for large family group of 15. Lovely owner who popped in every morning, but never intrusive. Treated us to pizza on first day and delicious croissants during the week. He didn’t speak English and we didn’t speak Italian, but we managed with languages app and sign language! Amazing pool area ideal for relaxing holiday. Highly recommend this booking."

"The Villa was lovely and set in a very peaceful location but near enough to the local town (car required). Only 8 miles to the beach but mountain roads so a slow journey but very enjoyable with spectacular scenery. Some very nice local restaurants and a local small supermarket. Only problem we had was that there was no hot water for the entire holiday. They came to fix it on the day that we were leaving. Apart from tat everything else was great. "

"We were an adult family group of n Sicily for the first time and Villa Consiglio was the perfect place to explore from. The Villa, pool and its many terraces enjoy views towards Palermo and Cefalu which could be easily reached by car or train. The villa was quiet and away from the centre but just a few minutes to the town by car. The owners went to great lengths to welcome us and Carlo was always available to deal with any questions, to guide us to the villa and run us to the train station....

The kids were in the heated pool everyday, thanks to lovely weather, which gave the adults time to relax and enjoy Italian wine and the beautiful vistas. Renting a 4 wheel drive is a must. "Villa Cottone è bellissima!!! Our family of 8 adults and one 3- year old thoroughly enjoyed every minute of our week-long stay. The Cottone Family is extremely accommodating, responsive and helpful. Each bedroom has its own bath, and the common areas (lanai, outdoor dining porch, POOL) were great for our large family. Lia arranged for a local chef to give us a cooking lesson in Sicilian cuisine…in the outdoor kitchen…and then served what we helped make- it was an evening we will never forget....

"Nice home but very quiet definitely need A car to go shopping,eating and exploring. The pool is very small with no seating area Or shade which is a shame we only used it once during our 2 week holiday. We spent our time on the private beach which is beautiful, €28 a day for the four of us. We hired a car to explore the island, Cefalu is beautiful. No WiFi, no restaurant, no shops, no bar with in walking distance"

"Place is ok. But too many aspects that didn’t make it great for us. Linen had to be paid for and was not of great quality. Bath cannot be used which means precarious standing in bath for poor flow shower. No shower screen or partition between shower spray and rest of the room. It seems like a moan, we were comfortable but could have been so much better than it was. I believe the owner should consider spending some money on the place and improving it."
