Transport necessary for shopping.
The owner had good communication and was helpful when required. The property was clean and the beds were warm and comfortable, the kitchen was tiny and there was no vaccuum cleaner. Unfortunately the weather was extremely cold for the last 2 weeks of January and into February and the property is designed for warm weather, so it was impossible to heat the lounge area because any heat generated, using both gas and electrical heaters, went up the open stairwell to the roof. We had to employ heated throws to watch tv from a not too comfortable sofa.The house is north facing so would be more suited to a summer holiday. We didn't use the garden area with bar-b-q because of the weather. Nor the communal pool, so cannot comment except that it looked good but deserted. The property is a few minutes walk from 2 British-style bar restaurants within the urbanisation but otherwise it's a 40 minute walk, partly over waste ground, to Quesada or 45 minutes to Los Motesinos (which we preferred as it was more Spanish, Quesada being more British/cosmopolitan) So a car is a must. Someone we met said there was no bus service but we never verified this, and didn't see any local buses although there IS a bus stop in Quesada.

Super ferie i 6 uger
I sin helhed havde vi en god ferie, 6 uger. Udlejeren var meget venlig og hjælpsom, der var problemer med et foldegardin og opvaskemaskinen, vi skrev en sms til udlejeren og han kom omgående og lavede det, super service. Wifi var god vi kunne tilslutte vores appl TV og se dansk TV ad den vej når vi ville slappe lidt af. Vi kunne godt have ønsket os at huset havde været mere sydvendt da der var megen skygge, vi var der fra den 15.09 til den 30.10, i den første del af ferien havde vi sol i haven fra kl 10.50 til ca kl. 14 og igen om eftermiddagen fra kl 16 til 17.30 ca. men det er vores egen skyld vi ikke havde undersøgt det ordentligt, vi er meget solelskende mennesker. Meget lidt sol i den sidste del af ferien, skyggefuld have. Huset havde det der var nødvendigt for, at have en god ferie, dog kunne vi ønske, at der var hynder til stolene ude under pergolaen. Men vi købte bare nogle, de kostede ikke ret meget. Svømmepølen var fantastisk og vandkvaliteten helt i top, vi nød den meget.

Tolles Haus, super Vermieter!
Sehr geschmackvoll und eingerichtet und blitzsauber bei der Übernahme. Die Vermieter sind absolut tolle Menschen mit Sinn für Ordnung und Pünktlichkeit - sowohl beim CheckIn als auch beim CheckOut hat alles tadellos geklappt. Ich habe den Urlaub mit Hund hier verbracht (4 Wochen), deshalb habe ich eine Unterkunft gesucht, bei der es ganz in der Nähe ein Gebiet zum Gassi gehen gibt. Angrenzend an die Siedlung ist genug Platz für eine schnelle Früh- oder Abend Hunderunde. Zur Ausstattung des Hauses sein noch gesagt: Bitte nicht irritieren lassen von der Beschreibung 2 Bäder, gemeint sind ein Bad mit Wanne/Dusche und ein WC mit mittelgroßem Waschbecken. WLan hat tadellos funktioniert. Wer wie ich im Winter und per Auto kommt sollte sich noch eine Bettdecke mitnehmen, im Haus gibt es Plüschdecken, aber keine klassischen Bettdecken, wie man sie bei uns (AT, DE) gewohnt ist. Der Garten ist ausreichend groß um gemütlich zu chillen, Sonne gibt es im Jänner aber nur bis mittags, da das Haus Nordost exponiert ist. Im Sommer hat man aber sicher den ganzen Tag einen sonnigen Platz im Garten, so man das überhaupt will....Für Beschattung ist jedenfalls gesorgt. Einkaufen: Perfekt die Nähe zum beliebten Zoco-Wochenmarkt, der immer am Sonntag stattfindet, klassische Supermärkte gibt es ganz in der Nähe in Quesada. Auch einen Tierklinik mit Pet-Shop. Wer ausgedehnte Spaziergänge mag, findet in La Mata bei den Salzseen und den herrlichen Strandabschnitten inklusive Dünen genügend Möglichkeiten. Ebenfalls gut mit Auto erreichbar das La Zenia Shopping-Center oder die Lagunen bei St. Pedro del Pinatar (Mar Menor), auch La Manga ist einen Abstecher wert. Alles in allem ein cooler Urlaub, freu mich schon auf nächstes Mal!
