"We'd definitely recommend The Squirrel's Nest. A lovely house and owners. Our room was great, spacious en suite bathroom, air conditioning which with temperatures of 40 degrees outside (canicule), was really appreciated, tea and coffee making facilities on the landing. An easy walk into Gaillac for dinner (bring a torch) and not far from routes to Albi and Toulouse. "Lovely couple running this beautiful place. We arrived rather late. Really wanted to enjoy the pool and just relax after a long drive. The lady offered to make us dinner so we didn't have to go out on the road to find a restaurant. Really glad we did. Delicious goat cheese salad, with salat from the garden. Huge portion of the risotto for main and a homemade baked dessert. Really lovely and homey feeling. "
