"Other than it being insanely hot in the hotel, it was great! Clean, comfortable, quiet, big car park, can walk into town in 10 minutes. There is their pub, a MacDonalds and Chinese restaurant on the doorstep. You can easily walk to Loch Lomond, the forest/park, pubs and shops. The hotel isn't staffed and you check in inside the pub (separate building) but it was easy and the staff there were lovely."

The trundle bed was not fit for purpose really, it didn't look safe to sleep on. "A great country inn. Exactly what I was looking for. Staff is friendly and helpful. I was treated to a local Scottish folk song jam session in the bar since I landed there on their regular meeting night. Very welcoming crowd. Great fun! It’s a country inn, not a hotel, but it’s perfect accommodations if you’re traveling by car. Close to Stirling Castle, Wallace monument and other sites of interest. "
