"Newly remodeled and furnished, comfortable rooms on one of the best streets in Barcelona, with a great view of the street from the room. Friendly and helpful staff. It is a small hotel and does not have a bar or restaurant; however, there are many great cafes, bars and restaurants literally right outside the front door of the hotel. The hotels is on the floor above the ground floor, which was being remodeled during my stay."

"Stood here for two separate visits. The first week was pleasant, the cleaning staff throughout our whole visit were Excellent and welcoming. Also have to give a big thumbs up to our host from Poland we did not get her name but she was very very nice, helpful and informative. We will always appreciate and remember her hospitality. Best Weekend away!

"Me and my mate really enjoyed our stay here at Occidental! We were in Barcelona for the Half Marathon and this hotel was the perfect place to relax and rewind after our long days. We were offered complimentary champagne on arrival and check in was super smooth. The pool and spa facilities were fantastic, really adding that extra recovery and comfort to our stay. The buffet breakfast was so great with a variety of different food options. To finish off the room was very tidy/clean and the beds were very comfy indeed! Staff were super helpful, we will definitely return sometime soon."
