"What I enjoyed about Taumeasina was the family orientated environment. Good vibes at the bar and great place to just chill. What I did not enjoy was a handful of female customer service skills. Ladies behind the desk and on the floor were rude and gave attitude a lot. You would ask them a question and they will walk away and come back and answer you. "Resort location beautiful, with CHOGM and impending kings arrival this took most of the staffs attention. Dining options were limited, bars were closed early, day trips online weren’t available, no welcome drink on arrival. Staff regularly arguing at reception"

"Very private, quiet. Beautiful showers. Beautiful plants but require maintenance to the gardens. It would nice to have lemon grass pot plants to help keep the mosquitoes away."

"It was excellent. We arrived on a Sunday which is when most stores in Samoa are closed, however the hotel held our bags and provided excellent information on where to go and what would be open. Pool was nice and room was good."

"We stayed in Fale Lina, one of the over the water fales. Surrounded by crystal clear aqua-blue water we spent hours on our large patio watching ocean ripples for sea turtles. (Which we saw often!) Each morning I’d grab my mask and fins and snorkel out to the nearby reef for a closer look at the abundance of sea life. "Fabulous location. Would have liked our own bathroom but the shared one worked OK. Great that breakfast and dinner included and nice food with generous helpings - just no choice what you get. "Overall I enjoyed my 4 night stay. The front desk staff are great (especially Ingrid) and I used the hotel's airport transfer which went smoothly both ways. Beds and pillows super comfortable. Clean. The hotel was way too noisy, however. I changed rooms twice and the hotel staff were very responsive to my complaints. However, I just don't think it's okay to have bassy music blaring from the restaurant speakers. The hotel really needs to do some testing of how their sound and PA systems vibrate...

"Spent an amazing few nights at Faofao fales. The fale is right on the beach and a great place to relax. The family that run these fales are very friendly and beautiful hosts. The meals were so tasty and enjoyed lovely cocktails on the eating area veranda looking out over the ocean. Will definitely return here. The mosquito nets were intact, the mattresses comfortable and the shared bathroom facilities were well kept and cleaned. The location is close to To Sua trench and lolmanu beach however...

"Fabulous location. Would have liked our own bathroom but the shared one worked OK. Great that breakfast and dinner included and nice food with generous helpings - just no choice what you get. Staff are lovely and very helpful. A fab place for those with a modest budget wanting a great experience and top location"

Faofao beach fales are like living in paradise

"Spent an amazing few nights at Faofao fales. The fale is right on the beach and a great place to relax. The family that run these fales are very friendly and beautiful hosts. The meals were so tasty and enjoyed lovely cocktails on the eating area veranda looking out over the ocean. Will definitely return here. The mosquito nets were intact, the mattresses comfortable and the shared bathroom facilities were well kept and cleaned. The location is close to To Sua trench and lolmanu beach however the Faofao beach is so beautiful i was happy to spend time there. Cant wait to return!"
