"Lovely working mill in a small village. Sandra and Richard are great hosts and very knowledgable of the areas plus cook a great breakfast. Not in walking distance to any restaurants or pubs short taxi ride. Very close to the village of Fordingbridge where there are three pubs serving food plus a very nice Italian restaurant. The mill is very central for sight seeing and about half an hours drive to the coast, we had a lovely 3 day break and will return. "

"We had a lovely weekend staying in the Shepherd’s Retreat. It was very well equipped to a high standard and immaculately clean. The property is in a very peaceful spot and with excellent access to The New Forest, Salisbury, Bournemouth and the coast. "Great shepherd hut in quiet location right next to the New Forest. It has everything you need and very stylish. Lovely and warm when the heating was on. Big car park and nice garden to look out to. We loved it and would stay again."
