"Had a wonderful stay, location is perfect. The train station is right at the door, shops and restaurants, churches and trams right there. It's a lovely area to stay, very vibrant even in the off season. Walkable to tourist areas. Our room was very spacious, clean and had a fridge. Wifi worked well. Bathroom was a nice size. *Note there are no tea/coffee in the room.* Breakfast was lovely, huge variety and in a large room. Staff were all friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay again!"

"Lisbon was our last stop after being in Portugal for 10 days. Although our stay at Esqina was fine, it was not as cozy as I was hoping it would be. I can't ding them on ratings, and I haven't stayed in other hotels in Lisbon, but it didn't feel like a 4 star hotel based on other places I've stayed in Europe. The bathroom was tiny and the lighting was odd. It felt more like a basic travel lodge, versus a cosmopolitan hotel. With that said, the location was great, breakfast was good. "

"Everything was so perfect since the check in process when the staff greeted us and introduced us around the hotel. The room was spacious with a huge comfortable bed, shower was nice. Bartender was friendly and cocktails were tasty too."

"Friendly & helpful staff. Location was perfect. I walked everywhere, even though the bus & tram goes immediately past the hotel front door. Room was small, but comfortable. Inside shutters were great for blocking light. In-room safe is small. Great for passport & cash. Comfortable bed. No coffee maker, but coffee shop less than 1 block."

"Staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel room was well equipped with everything needed. The views were beautiful as well being able to see the castle at the top of the mountain while sipping coffee was a plus. "

"I checked in on my 40th birthday and the front desk had upgraded my room without even requesting. We went out for dinner and the room was decorated with local bottle of bubbles, cake, chocolates and lavender pouches. Really made my day special! The indoor pool is nice with warm water! "
