"This place was awful. NO AIR CONDITIONING which is not mentioned anywhere on Expedia. Apparently, Expedia has that info but not listed anywhere. Would not have booked this place if I had known there was no air conditioning. No fans either and on top of that window was broken and couldn't be opened. Temp was close to 80 when I got there. Expedia was of no help finding me another room. Left within an hour of arriving. Temp next day was 102 degrees. Unacceptable at any price."

"A beautiful, unique and rare accommodation. This manor house has been in the same family for several hundred years and this same family still host and staff the house. This home and garden is a real labour of love and history. It is more of a museum than a hotel. The house is graced with beautiful antiques, paintings, plates and murals from centuries gone by. "It is a charming property but difficult to find. The name listed on Expedia is not the property name but rather the name of a particular room on this property. Also details with respect to Wifi were challenging to get. In the end we found the place and got the info we needed and the hostess was lovely. Lovely small town too."
