Hacienda Escondida- Modern Southwest Relaxation

Warm, Cozy Southwest Modern Retreat- Relax on this half acre property with its unique kitchen, kiva fireplace, oversized bathtub and all the amenities of home with a kick of Southwestern architecture. Build in the early 1900's, this 2 bedroom/1 bathroom adobe home is to cool to describe. Come see for yourself!

The North Valley/Los Ranchos/Corrales areas are all in a lush green valley that runs along the Rio Grande. This area is known for great outdoor activities, wineries, farmers markets and peaceful spas.

Albuquerque's rich, fertile North Valley area hugs both sides of the meandering Rio Grande. Early Spanish colonists selected the North Valley for use as farmland, and it retains much of its rural character. The North Valley is part of the oldest wine-producing area in North America, and several wineries are located here. The area's weekly farmers markets are extremely popular, selling fresh, seasonal produce as well as baked goods, preserves and crafts.

Comfortable and enjoyable
We very much enjoyed our stay at Hacienda Escondida. The description and pictures were accurate. The yard is just as pictured so don’t expect anything else. Inside is so nice. Clean, well stocked with quality products, first rate appliances, etc. Extremely comfortable. Best feature for me was the very large, deep tub. Two can easily bathe in it 😁 The rain shower is very nice with lots of hot water and great water pressure. Felicia was a pleasure to work with. We would not hesitate to stay here again. PS: Her recommendation of Mary & Tito’s Cafe is a wonderful local favorite very close by and will save you mucho dinero!

Indian Market Days
Hacienda Escondida was charming with a wonderful New Mexico vibe. We stayed in Albuquerque and drove back and forth to Santa Fe for Indian Market Day weekend. Easy on and off to IH 25. The house is in a quiet and convenient location. Our host was attentive and responsive. The refrigerator/freezer and rain shower head were the highlights. Recommend staying at Hacienda for Balloon Fest , Indian Market Days or just to visit. Wonderful host and property. Thank you

Great North Valley location
This is a really cute property and is well appointed inside. Very private and surprisingly quiet considering the location on 12th Street, which is a somewhat busy road. We felt very safe here and loved how it was close to so many areas--really convenient! We loved that is is actually an old adobe with improvements and upgrades. If you are at all familiar with Albuquerque, it is not difficult to imagine when this property was "rural". We were very comfortable and found everything we needed was stocked in the house. The single drawback is that the backyard area really needs some work in the fenced in area off the porch. However, there were plenty of chairs and a sofa to sit on outside in the shade of the huge backyard tree (bonus with the tree swing) and I'm sure that eventually there will be some landscaping planned for that area. In fact, the morning we checked out there were workers arriving to do some yard cleanup. Overall, a great, conveniently located little house with a lot of personality and we would definitely book this place again.

Excellent place to stay in Albuquerque
The house is quite charming inside and the kitchen is well appointed. My wife says it is very clean which means a lot as she is very fussy about that sort of thing. Jeremy and Felicia are excellent hosts and respond quickly to any difficulties that arise (of which there were few).

Went out of their way to help
I got very sick at the end of my stay. Felicia and Jeremy went out of their way to rearrange things so that I could stay put and Patricia, the cleaning lady, helped to make me as comfortable as I could be in the circumstances. I am very grateful

Perfect visit to Albuquerque
Wonderful location, easy to access downtown, arterials, interstate and yet be part of a welcoming, authentic neighborhood. The 2 bedroom home and living spaces were perfect for me daughter & my needs. The home was immaculate, welcoming and stylish with tasteful southwestern touches. The beds were comfy, the tech was top notch, the kichen was well-equipped & spacious. My daughter loved the long bathtub & hot shower. She also enjoyed relaxing in the sun in the back yard (April visit from the Northern Rockies - warmth and budding plants most appreciated.) Communicating with the hosts to coordinate our stay was prompt, responsive & helpful. We loved the place & plan to return.

Peaceful and Cozy
Our place was located in a quiet neighborhood and the house was very cozy. We were near several good New Mexican restaurants and Old Town. Our house was clean and we enjoyed the Adobe architecture. I definitely would stay here again.
