"Everything about this place was great. The location is lovely and the views are spectacular. The apartment is really spacious, comfortable and clean, with big bedrooms, each with its own bathroom, a full kitchen and a lovely big private balcony with views of the surrounding mountains. "First of all the welcome was perfect. Nicky met us at Castell de Ferro and guided us through the winding roads to the Villa. The house itself was huge and very well presented. With 5 spacious bedrooms and almost as many bathrooms. The children loved exploring every bit of it. In terms of amenities, the house is very well equipped had everything our family needed. There was even an extra fridge freezer in the laundry room (in case we got too carried away with our shopping). Entertainment wise...

"When I arrived at the accommodation, I called the owner. There was no reply. A car arrived and a woman came to assist me. She states that the owner was away and I could not access the accommodation. She very kindly gave me a lift to a neighbouring town where I found a hotel. "

Fabulous

"When we arrived we were greeted by our host, shown our room which was large and had a king sized bed which was very comfortable, also with a sofa bed, patio doors onto a private balcony overlooking the mountains. There was no snow close by but we were assured it may snow anytime. A very enjoyable experience. Thank you"

"The property is charming and well-maintained, with comfortable rooms. The staff was friendly and attentive. The breakfast was simple but delicious. The location is peaceful and private, yet still close to local attractions. Overall, it was a relaxing and enjoyable experience, and I’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a place to stay in Motril. "

Disappointed

"We booked and arrived late as we had been camping but the storm was bad so we sought shelter nearby It said there was parking on the profile but there wasn’t so we had to park in the street in broken glass The aircon did not work properly there was an extension lead for the to which was a trip hazard"

"Lanjaron is a little tired compared to other towns and villages we visited on our trip. Hotel was clean and tidy, new sealant around the bath required, suite brown (probably lovely in its day) but clean. Bed not great, we could feel the springs popping, not comfy and felt old. Decor plain and old fashioned. The outside was well maintained and a good size pool but we didn’t use. We paid for breakfast which was ok. Value for money, compared to other hotels on our trip, not great. "
