Villa Margarida by Laranjal Rentals is a superb property greatly located in Olhos de Água - Albufeira, wide areas inside and outside. With 5 large bedrooms (3 ensuite) a great balcony facing south with fantastic country and sea views. A very comfy lounge area with large LED screen next to the pool table and dinning area all with wide glass doors facing exterior lounge, BBQ and pool area, the pool can be fenced for kids safety. Large lawn, great for kids games with swings and slides, below this area you will find the pool house with table tennis and table football.
At a very short 2 minute walk you find several good restaurants and Bars, if you walk further, after 5 minutes you find all you need, large supermarket, local fish market, café, pharmacy, newspaper/tobacco store. Olhos de Água beach or Maria Luísa beach are 850 meters distance, less than 10 minutes walking in good path, here you will find several stores, bars, good restaurants and a variety of beach activities. Several other good beaches to explore at a 5 minute car drive. Albufeira Old Town and Oura beach are 4 km away and the Vilamoura Marina, Casino and Golf are 15 minutes by car. Several water parks and Zoo Marine at a short car journey. The Villa has a snooker table in the main living room and table tennis and table football in the play house. Pool/Jacuzzi heating available for 350€/week.

Perfect for large group!
Villa Margarida was amazing! The size of the place was perfect for us (a larger group of friends and family), having the swimming pool, table tennis and pool table kept everyone entertained throughout. The villa is also in a great location in between Albuferia and Villamoura, with cheap taxis either way. We would definitely recommend! Thanks again.

Fabulous!
We had the best time during our stay over New Year 2023/24! The property had everything to make our family celebrations the best they could be including heated pool and jacuzzi, walled garden for our 2 dogs, pool table, table tennis and foozball. The house itself is large and accommodating, with a great, well equipped kitchen, comfortable bedrooms with lots of bathrooms and ample hot water. The supermarket and beach were within easy walking distance and there is ample parking. The host even installed a charging point for our Tesla! We really couldn’t have asked for more. Thank you João, Élia and Luiz for all you did for us. Can’t wait to come back!!!

Lovely villa, would thoroughly recommend
We had a weeks holiday in October half term at this villa. Child of 11 years old, and 16 years old, plus 5 adults in our party. No issues with space with us all staying in the same property. Everywhere was spotless, good sized rooms, plenty of utensils/crockery/glasses etc in the kitchen. Bedrooms all good, beds comfortable, bathroom and an-suites all very good. Lots of seating in the main lounge. Plenty of games to play, which certainly helped when it rained a couple of times. The table tennis and bar football and pool table kept us all entertained. Plenty of bars and restaurants all within a short walking distance, we sampled most of them, no complaints. We also walked in to Olhos de Agua Centre, not far either, all down hill, walking back was no problem uphill. Local supermarket is also within walking distance, stocks everything needed. Owner Joao looked after the whole booking and managing process very well, we were met by Elia the maid when we arrived quite late, she was very friendly. Any issues were dealt with effectively and efficiently, even when it was out of their hands / bad weather for 1 day. There is also a folder in the villa with good recommendations for restaurants and bars etc, very helpful. All in all I have no hesitation in recommending this villa to anyone of any sized family of any ages.

Beautiful villa in a great location
My family and I stayed here early October and everything was perfect. We had two 1 year olds in the party and the villa provided everything we could have asked for - cots, high chairs, even the pool was fenced off. The location was great as well with a good supermarket 5 minute walk and a great beach with shops and restaurants only 10 minutes walk. Couldn’t recommend Villa Margarida more highly...already looking forward to next year!

Perfect for families
Our family of 7 adults and two toddlers have just returned from a wonderful 10 days in this great villa. It has everything a large family needs,plenty of room ,lovely comfortable beds,great bathrooms,plenty of seating,inside and out, great location,short walk from everything you would need. Joao and his team were excellent,very easy to contact at all times. We have visited the Algarve many times and this it the best villa we have stayed in. Thank you Joao, we may be back !

Excellent Villa
We stayed in Villa Margarida as a family of ten for two weeks during July / August 2018. We ranged from Grandparents to 4 and 7 year old grandchildren. As a family group we have enjoyed a number of villa holidays but Villa Margarida allowed us to experience the best holiday to date. The location of the villa is excellent with no car being required. Two beaches and Olhos de Agua centre being a 15 / 20 minute walk away. The large supermarket is a 5 minutes walk and there are numerous restaurants within easy reach. We also enjoyed the space provided by the villa, both inside and out and the safe environment. Electric gates at the front, a house alarm, blackout shutters at all windows, a pool fence and stair gates for the children. The Owner Mr Joao Barreto was very responsive to all emails and provided good advice when requested. Elia (housemaid) and her husband Luis (maintenance) are also very nice to deal with. Highly recommended

Stunning villa
We stayed at this villa 2-9 June 2018 and had a lovely time. The villa is well equipped and has everything you need. Very spacious so plenty of room for a big family. Super market was a 5 min walk up the road so we could get all of our food supplies. Some nice restaurants just past the supermarket, all that's missing is a few bars, we didn't want anything too lively as we had a 4 month old with us but there was no where to have a few drinks before/after dinner unless you went into the new and old town which was a cab ride away. Overall we had a lovely time the weather wasn't great but that can't be helped. Thank you for letting us stay, highly recommend.

Brilliant Villa perfect for three generations
Fabulous stay in lovely villa,11 of us covering three generations really enjoyed it. Excellent facilities, very well equipped and secure. Great location next to very good Italian restaurant and 5mins from supermarket. Olhos de Agua fishing village and beach easy walking distance. Short taxi ride to Villamoura and Albufeira. The Villa made the family holiday special
This was the first time that three generations had spent a whole week together in the sun. The villa was superb, Modern, fully equipped, well positioned and spacious enough for everyone. Extra large bedrooms and a fantastic heated swimming pool. We are certainly looking forward to re-booking asap.

We had a great stay, the villa is very comfortable and easy to stay in, we enjoyed the pool and jacuzzi, the local beeches, restaurants and bars. We had a night in Albefiera which is a short taxi ride away, went aquapark. We all had a fab time.

Perfect Villa
Villa Margarida is perfect. Its a lovely safe and secure environment for families with great facilities at the Villa and nearby. The staff are polite and courteous and dealt with our enquiries and questions very quickly. The pool and outside seating areas were well used by our family and thoroughly enjoyed. I can highly recommend this Villa for Families young and old. You dont even need to have a car if you dont want to drive as the beach, restaurants and a large supermarket are all within walking distance

Fabulous!
Perfect location and perfect accommodation! We had two weeks at this beautiful villa and it was so relaxing. Had everything we need and pool was lovely. We recommend paying for the heating on pool and hot tub because it was just right with heating on! Would definitely recommend this Villa!

5* villa everything you could want from a holiday property
Fabulous property, amazing facilities you won't want to leave it! Owner extremely accommodating and easy to deal with. No negatives but if we were to pick something that would help make experience even better it would be to have a welcome pack with information about the area, restaurants etc and to have had a few basic supplies left for us until we were able to get to a shop (dishwasher tablets, bin bags water). Would highly recommend and would definitely return

Excellent Villa, extremely well equipped.
A very desirable Villa, very thoughtfully equipped, every little item supplied. The very caring owner Joao has made it home from home. As a Family with 5 kids the pool was an absolute winner, well worth having it heated. Exceeded everyone's expectations, cannot fault it in any way and would recommend Villa Margarida to anyone. We were blessed with wonderfull sunny days and had a great Family holiday- Obrigado Joao

Exceptional villa in a quiet, but fairly central location, perfect for families.
My husband and I stayed at Villa Margarida for a week with my parents and young children. Everyone loved the facilities that there was on offer at the property. There is something for everyone.The pool was great and with the option of fencing around, it made it really safe so we could relax with the children running around. The property was extremely clean and well maintained and we loved the fact that it was fairly well sound-proofed. The early-rising children didn't wake everyone up. There are lots of fantastic restaurants within walking distance and the beach is just a short walk away too. We loved this property and have already booked up for 2018.
