The home is nestled within trees on a wooded lot, with easy spacious parking. In the summer, enjoy a cold drink on the deck while watching tv. Go for a scenic walk in the neighborhood and take in the wooded surroundings. In the winter, cozy up to the wood-burning fireplace after visiting local nearby slopes!

Nice location but needs some work
Spent a quick girls getaway here. Pros: Everything was clean though the house itself needs some TLC. The location is quiet & conveniently close to Big Boulder, Lake Harmony & Jim Thorpe for outings. The living area is cozy. There are some thoughtful provisions such as firewood, coffee, soap, linens, toilet paper & shampoo.Cons: one of the bedframes is actually broken/bent with no center support so we didn't feel comfortable using it. The loft area is nice but the bed is horribly uncomfortable... Could feel every spring. The water pressure is very low. There were no instructions for heat, lights etc & couldn't find matches or a lighter to use the fireplace.Communication with the host was lacking. No welcome message. An instruction sheet or VRBO message for heating, TV, lighting, checkout process etc would be very helpful.
