Thanks for taking a look at My Vacation Property Rental (MVP Rental). This was my family home until I offered it as a rental in 2023, but I've owned and been renting homes in this resort community since 2011. Over that time, I've handled thousands of reservations, received over 500 5-Star reviews, and developed the knowledge to offer a retreat from today’s fast paced life that both you and your pets will enjoy. Having multiple game rooms, theater room, living room, seating areas and TVs in bedrooms, there are spaces for everyone. If you’re a pet lover, you’ll probably feel better about giving your dog the fully fenced in back yard than you will giving your kids the game rooms. The wire mesh goes from top rail to the ground. We have never had a reported escape, but deer often jump it to graze in the yard.

Great house!!!
We had such a great time in this lovely house. Its two big game rooms have everything to occupy kids and adults. Personally for me one of the biggest plus of the property was fenced backyard so I could let my dog walk around freely. The house itself was nice and clean and comunication with the host was very easy. Would love to come here again !

Spacious, entertaining space
The house and process with the owner was great. There are so many options for games, the theatre room was a great bonus, and the inside feels bigger than what the pictures show. There were also games and books for younger children which we really appreciated. They do have a sizeable bump in the back yard that is hard to see in pictures, which made watching the kids a little more difficult - although they loved rolling down the hill! We would have loved being able to burn fires outside (neighborhood rule for renters) and cabinets in the kitchen being labeled. It was a really great spot for family/friend vacation and would recommend the owner and property to friends and family as well.

Family fall getaway
Very close to home but like being in another world. Traded our dog and cats for deer and turkey! The house was pretty much exactly as described. The game rooms were really fun, and we even did a family movie night in the theater room. The owner is super responsive and made everything seamless. The community is great for walking with the little one's stroller. We hit an unseasonable cold snap so we really didn't take advantage of the sandy beach or playground at the lake which would have been fun otherwise. Didn't matter; there was plenty to do. Jim Thorpe was an easy drive although beware: lots of eateries are not under-21 friendly, period. We had a blast at Big Creek Winery - the actual vineyard, not the Jim Thorpe tasting room. They were so accommodating with our granddaughter. Wonderful wines and snacks, reasonably priced. We would never hesitate to book this home again.

Best Rental in the Poconos
My family recently stayed here and it is by far the best home we have rented in 20 years. Everything in the home was clean, worked great, and the furnishings were very comfortable. The tv room and games were outstanding and the home is impeccably maintained. The property is fantastic. Our dogs were able to safely stay outside in the fenced yard while we enjoyed the large deck in the sun. The surrounding woods were so serene and quiet. We ended up staying home more than we ventured out because of how nice it was. Will, the property owner was very friendly and responsive. We have never returned to the same rental twice, but we will be back here, finding a true home away from home.

A perfect stay
This trip was exactly what we were looking for. The owner couldn’t have made it easier for us. Smooth renting process. The property was beautiful and the house was amazing. We never stayed at a place that had more activities inside the home. You can never go bored with two full game rooms and such a spacious home. But to make it even better, the fenced in property was exactly what we were looking for to sit outside with our little dog and enjoy the serene, quiet location. So much natural beauty.. It was just perfect. Can’t wait to come back!

House was awesome… I organized a family vacation, and everyone was very pleased with the house . spacious and clean. Love the fenced in yard and the host was very available. My only complaint was most the darts for the dartboard were broken, but there was so many other games to keep us occupied. Definitely would stay here again.

We were a group of 10 (5 adults and 5 kids) and dogs! The house was exactly as advertised and very clean. Kids had a blast with all of the games! Communication with property owner/manager was easy! Clean and updated house with lots of electronic free activities
The property is great. 6 adults, 6 children, and 3 dogs. House was very clean, no sign that dogs had ever stayed there. Beds were extremely comfortable (probably buying a new mattress that is the same as the ones they had at this house, I am not kidding). House maintained a comfortable temperature throughout our stay. There are two game rooms with plenty of activities for kids and adults of various edges to participate in TOGETHER. It was nice to have the kids disconnect from electronics, but still had the convenience of WiFi. Appliances all updated and bathrooms were very clean. Water pressure was good and water temperature was great. Fenced in back yard was fantastic for the dogs, would also be great for small children. Renter/manager was easy to deal with and easy to contact. Will definitely stay at this property again.

Very comfortable house for our annual sibling gathering of 5 brothers & sisters and 2 spouses. The house and kitchen are well equipped with comfortable furniture and lots of games for entertainment. We especially enjoyed the large dining/kitchen/living room with gas fireplace which easily accommodated all 7 adults at one time. The pool table provided for some friendly competition. Wonderful, quiet and wooded neighborhood. The ever present herd of deer was a delight. Plenty of local hiking and parks. Highly recommend the place for a quiet, comfortable get away.

Perfect Weekend!
Our family enjoyed our weekend stay and all the house had to offer. The community was beautiful and we enjoyed peaceful walks and nature watching. Great home for older kids
We stayed here with our young adult kids snd had a blast. So many games for fun family time. The house is very nicely furnished and well stocked. We did white water rafting, paintball, horseback riding, ziplining, kayaking, beach and pool.
