Situated on a cliff overlooking the Navarro River, the local beach, and the ocean, this retreat provides a relaxing, naturally pleasing sanctuary and a perfect base for exploring the local area. This family-friendly home is stylishly furnished and has a generous set of amenities, an outdoor sauna, and lots of space to roam. Enjoy the privacy with family and friends, take a walk on the local trails and beaches, visit the redwood forests, Mendocino City, and enjoy the food and wine of the region and the multitude of recreational activities. Family memorial
We had a family memorial. The host is very strict with the rule of only having 7 people at the house at any given time. We have a large family, I thought the rule was for only 7 staying there. We had family stop in one night to visit and were notified by the host that they needed to leave or we were going to get kicked out if we didn’t abide by his rules. The house is perfect in every way,.

Soul-replenishing location
The views from this home are incredible. The ocean, river, forest terrain make this an inspiring location to replenish your soul and reconnect with loved ones. This house is loved… the owners have put in beautiful, high-quality finishes into the home. The property is great. While I usually look for homes with a tread for running/walking, there is a loop on the property with amazing views that I used each day of our visit—didn’t miss the tread! Also, the sauna is perfection. Secluded away from the house and maximizes the ocean view. All I can say is this sauna must be envy of other saunas… The location to Mendocino is perfect—Away from the hustle and bustle but close enough for fine dining and shopping. We’ll be back!

This house is incredible!! It is our second time staying here and can’t wait to come back! The house has everything you need to be comfortable. The beds are very comfortable, and linens are wonderful. Easy drive to Mendocino for shopping and groceries. The house is modern and clean and exactly like the pictures. One of the best things is the incredible view from every room, stunning!!! You will not want to leave!

Amazing property in a great location that allowed us to enjoy the peace and serenity of the northern coast while being in proximity to spectacular sights and conveniences. The property was exactly as depicted, and well-appointed with everything needed to make our stay comfortable. Set on a cliff overlooking a river flowing into the ocean, the views were serene and the home perfectly planned and laid out. It was immaculately kept, better than the pictures and the host was kind and considerate. We will definitely stay again.

What a gem!
This is one of the best homes we have stayed at! Absolutely beautiful! Every room was spacious and with the amazing views we stayed in and make incredible meals. The kitchen was well stocked. The sauna was wonderful and we used it everyday. Wow! Cannot wait to go back!

Don’t wait on this house. It’s everything you need to add for your perfect Mendocino vacation. Perfectly situated to enjoy all that Anderson Valley, Mendocino and Fort Bragg has to offer. Property is pretty amazing, everyone was in awe of the house and location. We all wished we could have stayed more than 2 nights but we had an agenda as we made our way up to Cannon Beach. I wouldn’t hesitate for a second to book your stay here.

Such a beautiful spot. The house too was as shown with the additional thoughtful considerations for our needs as a mixed age group. We relaxed in front of the fireplace and loved the huge picture windows looking over the Ocean. Many thanks for a fabulous stay!

Beautiful property and location
The property is absolutely gorgeous and the host was very responsive and provided great suggestions. It rained the first day but it only made the house more impressive and we spent the day doing puzzles and watching movies and then woke to a spectacular view and quick trip to Mendocino. The unique home on Navarro Ridge, Mendocino County is a comfortable, tastefully designed modern property with spectacular views. The three of us enjoyed an all to short week experiencing its delights. The house is incredibly spacious on the inside, yet blends modestly with the landscape.

Fantastic Modern Home with Killer Views!
Highly recommend this home - the location and views can’t be beat. We really enjoyed opening up the living room walls to let in the ocean breeze around sunset. The home itself seems brand new- it is very well designed and decorated. It is conveniently located just south of Mendocino. We will be back!

Pictures don't capture the serenity of the view. The interior is as pictured, modern and clean. EVERYTHING in the home is new, unlike many vacation rentals where things are mismatched odds and ends. Linens and bathroom amenities are hotel quality. You can pair your Bluetooth device to receiver for music, good speakers in ceiling. Peaceful and awesome views make this a great retreat. Mendocino and Fort Bragg close enough for what you need. Several good restaurants closer to property also. Bjorn was great host!

Wedding Weekend
We rented this property for our family over the weekend of our daughter's wedding. It was clean, comfortable, bright and cheery, modern and well stocked. There was plenty of room for our family of 7, and plenty of parking. We absolutely recommend it! The owner responded quickly to communication and was receptive to our needs. I would definitely rent from him again. We had one little hiccup that other renters should be aware of. The listing notes that the location only sleeps 8; what it doesn't clarify is that the owner only allows 8 people in the rental home at any one time. For example, you can't invite extended family over for dinner. This was disappointing to us, especially as it wasn't communicated until 6 weeks before the wedding. As long as a renter is aware of this limitation, then this is a great rental place!

Exceptional property
Everything about this property is perfection!! From the moment you drive up to the house and see the stunning view of where the Navarro River meets the ocean, you will not want to leave! As for the house, it is one of the most beautiful houses we have ever stayed at. They have thought of everything to make your stay comfortable. The design is perfect with a primary bedroom and bathroom on one side of the house, and two additional bedrooms and bathrooms on the other side. The beds and linens were very comfortable, the bathrooms very clean and stocked with bath products. The kitchen has EVERYTHING you may need to cook, which is what we did for every meal since we didn’t want to leave this beautiful house. The patio has 4 comfy chairs to relax and take in the gorgeous view. They even have a sauna which has a window in it so you don’t miss the view from there either. The neighborhood is quiet and the location easy to get to, with just a short drive into Mendocino, or the Anderson Valley for wine tasting. Communication with property management is great, with quick responses. We only stayed for two nights, and we were so sad to leave. We hope to make this a yearly trip just so we can stay here. I highly recommend this house to anyone, families with children, couples, or a girls getaway. Thank you Bjorn for everything!! This beautiful NEW house is perfect!!!
