"We saw so very many dolphins this trip along with a lot of pelicans. Watching them from the huge deck with the magnificent views was amazing. Weather was great, sunny and warm. Free Netflix is always a plus. Great restaurants, bagels and a bakery all within a few miles of Hip Nautical keeps cooking at a minimum. We hope to get back again next year. "

"This home easily accommodated my family of 7. The neighborhood was very nice and quiet. We enjoyed riding bikes to the park and hanging out at the sound. The only thing I can say about the home is that the kitchen needs a pizza pan. Otherwise, great stay!"

"Found this to be a great property to stay at. Perfect location, nice layout for spending time with family. Good view of ocean waves from balcony. Lots of extras good for staying with kids if you have them. Stairway carpets have some stains but that's only a minor flaw. Otherwise quite clean. Backyard was very useable with only a few stickers which didn't seem to get stuck in my dog's paws."

"Great house, everyone was very happy (9 adults and 1 child). Plenty of room to spread out with the 2 levels, kitchen table seats 10-16 plus the island chairs. 2 hot tubs and pool with plenty of seating around pool and on decks. Had a couple of maintenance issues that didn't need to be taken care of during our stay. Alarm system was a little annoying, keep beeping at control pad when the bottom door was kept open too long - like for hours it would beep. Not sure if it reset itself or my phone...

"We enjoyed staying at a sound house for the first time at the OBX. The main living part of the house was perfectly fine and clean and the rooms were decent size. The exterior of the house and the downstairs could use some attention. As other reviews have mentioned, the siding on one side of the house has melted from a house fire that was next door; curious when they will fix this as it's been mentioned in a few reviews And, I don't know if we just went at a time when the bugs had been...

"Clean, comfortable with lots of stairs and the most rain I have seen on the outer banks. One of our grand daughters cannot have gluten so we did lots of cleaning while we were there. We washed all the dishes and silverware before using them to be safe. "

The house is walking distance to the beach and the grocery store and was perfect for my wife and I.
