The Lake View Retreat is nestled in the rolling hills of Southeast on 7 acres while still remaining close to nearby restaurants, shops, and local attractions. This vacation home boasts 3 comfortable bedrooms, 2 bedrooms, a large living space, and a spacious kitchen. Traveling is a breeze when you stay with us as the home is fully equipped with great amenities. Property offers an outdoor hot tub, fire pit, and great quality time. Overlooks a 5-acre pond where you can canoe or partake in catch and release fishing. State Parks, lakes, canoe & kayaking, ziplining and so much more all located within a short distance from the property.
This luxury cottage/retreat is situated on a 20-acre property that overlooks a beautiful 6-acre lake and in the small town of Albany. Spacious living in this ranch style retreat with living room, large open kitchen, dining area, 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The property is located just off the road of State RT 50 in a quiet setting that offers plenty of relaxation for you and your guests.

The 6-acre Lake offers some great fishing, canoeing or kayaking, and some much-needed rest and relaxation. Take a 45 minute drive from your cottage/retreat to visit Old Man’s Cave, Cedar Falls, Ash Cave, Rock House, Conkle’s Hollow, or Rock Bridge located in Hocking Hills State Park. Close to Athens and lovely place!
My boyfriend, sister, and brother in law stayed for a weekend with the main reason to visit Ohio University as Alumni. This place was a perfect distance away and a great location. The house was very clean and perfect for our group with the games/hot tub/ fire pit. Check in was easy and the company was quick to respond to a question via email. Will definitely come back when the weather is warmer!

Great house and location
The property was in a great location. We enjoyed being by the lake and walking our dogs around the property. The house was clean and gave us plenty of room for our family. The grandsons loved being able to play pool in the garage. we had a little problem getting the door code, but a Vrbo employee worked diligently at finding the info we needed to get into the house. Would stay here again if in the area.

Great place to stay.
Came for parents week. This was a great place for the parents to stay. Have a daughter and two nieces at OU. The house was beautiful. It was nice to be able to have places to sit and talk and to cook/eat. It wasn't far from campus. We had a little challenge finding it but once there were pleased with our entire stay.

Loved the paddle boats, canoes, hot tub, and pool table. Lots to keep us busy. The house was very clean and updated. More than enough room for our family of 4. Would have liked to have a few blankets for the beds.

Loved the Lake!
We all had a great time at your place for Labor Day Weekend! My grandson, who is 10, just loved fishing off the dock and the paddle boat! They really enjoyed the pool table and basketball game in the garage.We did a couple of hikes at Hocking Hills too! It was a very enjoyable and relaxing weekend! Thanks for a great time!

We came for a quick getaway. This place was lovely. Very clean. Minor issues that were attended to quickly. Nothing that impacted our stay. The pool table is a nice addition. We enjoyed multiple games on one of the rainy days of our stay. Great location and the food from Lucky’s is close and delicious!

The host was incredibly accommodating! Bad weather caused snags in our stay, but our host did everything in their power to make sure we were taken care of properly. We stay at the 1850 Inn which is beautiful, spacious and clean. I would highly recommend staying at this house if you are in this area. Can't thank the host enough!

The stay was fun! There were some issues with the place like the ceiling above the bedroom shower is severely peeling, most of the blinds were messed up, the screens had holes in them, and it could have been cleaner, along with other smaller issues. But it is a great location! We love the lake, and had a great time!

Beautiful property on a private lake. We had fun on the paddle boat. Hot tub wasnt working properly but management team sent someone out eight away to fix the issue. I love that we were able to bring our dur baby. She had a wonderful time as well.

Quiet weekend
My wife and I stayed for a weekend the house was nice and the surrounding area was quiet. The Hot tub wouldn’t go above 88 degrees that’s my only complaint. Other then that it was a great weekend. My wife and I will be going back with our kids.

Peaceful Lake Retreat
This property was everything we had hoped for. The setting is very tranquil and peaceful and we had great neighbors beside us. They had a couple of kids and it was fun watching the kids splashing around in the lake while I was peacefully fishing off of the private dock. The only thing I found to be a little upsetting was that the outside furniture had to be cleaned before we could use it. Other than that, it was a great stay and we will definitely be returning in the future.

Darling place! Lake, fire pit and hot tub were awesome!
Only little critiques- the dishwasher was loose from its fittings do we didn’t far use it! Also, the furnace went out on our last night so it was cold in the am! We cooked 3 meals and the pans were rough! Everything else was fabulous.

Property is nice, but outside could use some maintenance. Stuff growing out of evespouts, very unsightly. Hot tub was not treated 1 time, we were there 5days. Not peaceful, the neighbor aged his music so loud we heard every word. Would never book again, way too expensive.

Beautiful house , needs some repairs
The house is beautiful. Pictures don't do it justice. The view of the water and the gorgeous night sky was absolutely perfect. The house was very clean besides some mold around the tub in the master bathroom and a few dirty dishes. My kids looked forward to the pool table / air hockey but it was broke. My husband tried to fix it but wasn't successful. My son had to remove a 6ft poison ivy plant that was right against the hot tub because my husband is allergic. The peddle boat was full of water , we assumed it had a hole so we didn't use it and We pulled two ticks off my nephew. Other than that we enjoyed our stay.

It was a mess 😔
First I was given an address that didn't exist. Neighbors were also confused because they were trying to get into our rental. Then the next day I get a phone call that a cleaning lady thought she lost her phone there and they had me looking for it. Outside area is a mess. This place needs to be shut down and updated and repaired to match the other houses on property. And wear shoes you don't care about, there's geese and dog poop everywhere. We still enjoyed our stay because we can turn anything to fun, but we did check out a day early and I definitely will not be going back.

Beautiful property! Hot tub was broken, disappointed about that, because it was ONE of the main reasons we decided to stay there. Called property manager first night and they sent someone but really didn’t talk to us. Called out again due to hot tub not working and we just got ignored. Had some issues with little stuff like can openers and coffee pot and stove. They really need to start keeping up with property. The umbrella was broken for the table on deck, the kind of money you spend to stay you should have everything up to date!! I understand things happen, but again for the amount of money you spend for a night then everything should be up to date and should not be ignored when calling out to get things looked at. Other then that it is a very beautiful property!! Loved the paddle boats and canoe.
