No-one in on our arrival but notes left and room with spectacular views ready and waiting. All new clean and neat. "Before I booked I read all the reviews and there were those who hated the place and those who obviously loved it so I decided to give it a go. We have a house on the coast so at worst we could have driven back home. However, we were pleasantly surprised. The Fonda is situated right in the centre of a pleasant village and the reception was manned. We were offered a choice of a 1st or 2nd floor room and chose the 1st floor.The room simply furnished with bright blue woodwork and really gorgeous...

"Room was ok for our 2 nights, but would be small for longer stay of 4 persons. The biggest problem was access, we could not park near and even if we would have that opportunity, it would still mean to take all our baggage via 2 elevators plus stairs as it is built in steep hill. Receptionist was very friendly and went down to wait for us, otherwise we would not find it."

"Loved our stay. Reserved a 1 bedroom for myself, wife and 2 teenage daughters. Got a room with an extra 1/2 bathroom which was nice. The room was clean, roomy enough and nice. Kitchen was well equipped to make breakfast. Supermarket across the street. Excellent restaurant across the street for dinner. Ski rental next door as well. Not much else within walking distance. Shuttle to Grau Roig ski area was very convenient. Spa was really nice. Indoor and outdoor hot tub, Sauna, steam room and cold...

"Every room is a junior suite. Underground parking under the hotel with direct access to the hotel. Easy access to the main tax free shopping area. For access to fitness center, you need to reserve a time with a receptionist and get a separate room key. Jacuzzi does not work."
