"Their AC in the rooms and the lobby and restaurant seem to go out a lot during the heatwave. Bad time for no air conditioning. The room I had wasn’t properly cleaned each day so I had a dirty bathroom. Great location by the main museum and by a AVM mall. Staff was friendly and helpful. The message lady in the spa did a great job."

"Our stay at Kaliruha was wonderful. The hotel was designed well in converting old stone homes into a charming hotel. The accomodations were comfortable and the room was nice and clean. The AC was more than sufficient to keep the room comfortable despite the high heat outside. The staff were also very friendly and helpful. The outside courtyards were great for sitting and chatting in the evening."

"This was the best budget hotel we stayed in Istanbul. Since it is a new build, the rooms are excellent and it comes with a great buffet Turkish style breakfast. The staff are all very friendly and happy to help. Be warned that neighbourhood can be noisy so light sleepers should take ear plugs, but the noise does lower after 10:30pm. The manager speaks some English which is quite rare for Şanlıurfa. He also offers tours, but by his own admission is not a proper tour guide. He seems to be well known in the area. We would definitely stay again"

"The hotel was difficult to find, no parking so we had to walk from the parking area. They brought our luggage. It’s in an old section of town so streets are narrow, very busy, and cars travel fast."

"Our triple room had four beds, two were never made. Lots of dust & webs in room. Two pillows did not have pillow covers & quilts were not clean had hairs from previous guests. We did not feel like using the quilts and had to sleep wearing jackets & socks. There was a bug on the bed."
