"larger than usual room size which is nice, but way too noisy. From 5am you will hear doors and cupboards slam (from the kitchen I think), as if it were within your own room. Was unable to sleep due to noise. Otherwise a standard business hotel."

"Located in a rural area that is close to some beautiful natural sights. A short drive from the UNESCO heritage site (old growth beech forest). We came in early November and were a bit late for the peak fall colours, but there were still plenty of vibrant orange and yellow leaves. Hotel itself is showing its age, but they keep the rooms very clean. Kind and courteous staff made us feel welcomed. Would recommend for anyone looking for a quiet nature escape."

"Facility is dated, one of the elevator was inoperative. There are bugs in the room, according to the front desk staff it’s normal during this time of the year. Both breakfast and dinner are good inclusive to the price. "

"The answer was absolutely wonderful. The beds were a little hard, but were okay. The room was spotless as was the bathroom. We love all the amenities that come with the Dormy Inn like the free ramen and the welcome drinks. The breakfast was a good combination of Japanese and continental. There was something for every palate and the dishes were all quite good. We love how convenient the location is in. The parking on premises really helped us navigate Hirosaki."

"While I booked a double-bed room, at check in, I requested a change to twin beds. I was shocked that the extra charge was ¥7,950. At another hotel in Aomori, I did the same and paid ONLY ¥2,000. This Route Inn charge of ¥7,950 was outrageous. As well the breakfast was terrible with very limited choice. I won’t recommend anyone to stay here. The bed was too hard too like I was lying on a concrete floor. "

"I stayed at this hotel 5 years ago and it was great. Coming back after 5 years a little different. Need to improve on the cleanliness. Pillow smells like it hasn't change at all. Curtains has a lot of stains and air conditioning not working well. This hotel need to refurbish or improve on the cleaning. If i return to Hirosaki, I will opp for another hotel."
