"We enjoyed the location as it was easy to get around. We purchased a Barik card and rode the buses, funicular, and trains easily at a very reasonable price. The host provided us with a brochure that was very helpful. Would stay here again."

"Excellent apartment. Well equipped. Great location- very close to metro & supermarket. We enjoyed exploring Bilbao."

"We spent a lovely four nights here. The condo was on an upper floor, with plenty of parking at the side of the building. We used supermarkets in Durango (5-10 min drive away) for groceries. It was easy to drive into Durango and take the train to Bilbao for the day too. The kitchen had the basic things you might need (small oven, microwave, fridge-freezer, coffee machine, washer, dishwasher, but no kettle?) and the shower was pleasingly powerful. "The home is lovely, it’s well appointed and so clean! The owner, Jon, went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. There was even a spread of fruits, muffins, teas and milk! He and his son helped us with our luggage. We’d been traveling in Spain for a month and were looking for a spot near the Bilbao airport for our early flight-really wish we’d have been able to spend more than one night there! We will be back to explore this beautiful part of the country and stay in this apartment again!"

"Apartment is well-situated within town and sits on the building's top floor, which allows for good sunset views of the surrounding hills. The apartment is clean, neat, and has a good-sized balcony with a table for eating. Gernika is equipped with a train station, many restaurants, grocery stores, shops, a couple museums, and is even a short drive to beaches and the seaside town of Lekeitio, making it the perfect alternative to staying in Bilbao. "A comfortable and quiet apartment with a great kitchen, sitting and dining room and patio for at-home relaxing with the family. Just a five minute walk from the amazing Mundaka beach, and village. Good train, bus and road links to the surrounding region. Having the underground parking space was extremely useful."

"This was a highly functional suite with 2 TV’s, European refrigerator, dishwasher, pots, dishes, cooktop, etc. the grocery store is<2 blocks away. Front desk is not staffed 7x24, but they ordered us a cab for non-staffed hours, and it arrived right on time. Very neat and clean. Trendy contemporary decor. We would go there again. There is dining nearby, but it is better about a 10 minute walk to the old city"

"Great apartments with the basics you need to prepare meals, dishwasher and washing machine. Extra towels, hygiene and cleaning products was provided. Only thing that was an issue was quality and range of wifi network. Was only available close to entrance. But other than that . Amazing Service provided before our late arrival. Great standard of the apparment and accessories that was provided. Walking distance beautiful Old town of Bilbao, Museums, restaurants etc."
