Mille Lacs sugar sand retreat

Great place to get away. Our family cabin has been fully updated to meet the needs of our guests and family. Main floor is a open floor plan with beautiful views of lake and awesome screened in porch with fire table. Basement is setup with two bedrooms and four beds with a walkout to the lake. Every room has great views to the lake and home has a wrap around deck with plenty of space to enjoy. Our shoreline is as nice as they come on Mille Lacs- great swimming and gradual slope with no weeds or rocks. Great place to have a winter get away! Snowmobile right from the front yard-miles of trails off or on the lake. Pull the portable fish House out to a premier Minnesota lake. If you chose to explore the area, or just hang out and relax, you won't be disappointed.

This home worked very well for our young family getaway. Accessories for the children were available and the beach/water was shallow which made it easy for the children to play in and around the water.

Me and my boyfriend stayed here as we are long distance and wanted a nice place to get away. Great views, the house had everything we needed and the kyaks were an added bonus we were not expecting. Will return again!

I would love to thank the owner for the opportunity to stay at there home. Looking forward to staying there again next year. The scenic view and sound of the waves coming into shore is what makes vacations like ours awesome.

Great family stay for relaxing and swimming.
A sandy beach and shallow water near shore were great for swimming and playing with our small children. The home was nicely equipped for guests, with many amenities for relaxing and enjoying the water. Our midweek visit was quiet, and sheltering trees lined most of the property for a nice private stay. We stayed in and made use of the clean kitchen and laundry facilities.

Great Beach Vacation Right Here in Minnesota!
This is a great place to experience a beach vacation without having to get on an airplane! We had a great time swimming, kayaking, catching minnows and watching the baby ducks. The screened in porch was fabulous! Thank you for everything - we really enjoyed our time!

The property itself was decent. Lots of sleeping, lots of dishes, the bones were good. The property had dead flies inside and outside of the home. The screened room had 1/2 deep of dead flies lying inside and outside of the room. Dead flies on outside furniture, BBQ, etc. the internet is definitely spotty. I let owner know perhaps their housekeeping is the issue!!!

A perfect spot
Craig and Sandy are wonderful to work with and the Sugar Sand House is just what we needed. All the amenities you could want and everything was extremely clean and well taken care of. The property is spectacular and the sunset views of the lake are picturesque. We will definitely stay here again!
