"View from our room was INSANELY BEAUTIFUL. From the balcony we saw mountains, nature, and water. And it was a quiet area. The restaurant downstairs was very very pretty and delicious. And the dessert looked like it was from a fancy 5 star restaurant. Short drive from lake como which is very beautiful and walkable. And there were parking spaces available in the front and back."

"My friends and I (3 couples) stayed in this beautiful apartment in August and we will definitely be back! It's an easy drive from Milan airport, and sits in a gated estate in the hills above Barzano, a sleepy nearby town. The apartment has clearly been refurbished recently and it's clean, well-equipped and very spacious, but still has the charm of a grand old Italian villa. The rooms all had AC, Wi-Fi and super comfortable beds. The weather was amazing so we spent our time swimming in the lovely pool, walking in the gardens and exploring the area. It's a very quiet and private place, and we loved cooking and eating on the terrace - the property is high up in the hills and the views are astonishing. Gretchen was incredibly helpful, and provided us with some great recommendations for restaurants and walks in the nearby forest. Overall a very relaxing and refreshing stay. "Nice hotel, in a residential area so it does a great job of providing everything you could need. Lovely pool area with an onsite bar, changing rooms, lockers etc. great selection of healthy, fresh, tasty breakfast items. Restraint and bar was a little pricey for our tastes but menu looked perfect for gastro types :). Aircon in room seemed lacking, we did stay during peak summer but it felt like the room never got below 28°c"

"The ambience of the property and grounds was beautiful. We were just disappointed with the breakfast. It didn’t feel like a luxury experience for the price of the stay. There was no fresh bread or croissants and the choice was otherwise quite limited. I requested a gluten free breakfast but was offered rice cakes and gluten free cup cakes whereas hotels normally provide gluten free bread or rolls for breakfast. The coffee was cold and we would have expected fresh coffee or a cappuccino to be served at the table. It was also a shame not to sit outside for breakfast in the beautiful courtyard. "
