"Cozy hotel in the small town of Landry. Close to the slopes but you'll need to take the shuttle or train to Paisey or Bourg St Maurice. Very good restaurant downstairs so you don't have to leave for dinner after a long ski day. The foie gras was fantastic. The only thing keeping it from being 5 stars is no one is there to help you with the bags if you decided to try and travel without a car. "

About a half hour drive for most of the skiing but a good location to be able to ski at different areas each day. "The service was good, and everyone we spoke with at the property was very polite. Aside from that, I don’t have many good things to say. The room was dated, the basic rooms look nothing like the photos online, the bed was too soft and quite uncomfortable. WiFi worked intermittently. The hot tub was cold and sauna was very small. "We stayed here for one short night before taking the train back to Lille. It's a 10-15 minute walk from the Bourg-Saint-Maurice train station - uphill on the way to the hotel! The staff were helpful and friendly, and we liked the aesthetic of the hotel. The wifi was not great, but that was not a huge issue for the night. The hotel restaurant was packed on Saturday night - advise making a reservation ahead of time if you can."
