This property was absolutely fantastic, a solid 10 out of 10! My wife and her friend chose it for a four-night stay, and it perfectly met their needs. My buddy and I also had a great time in the game room and enjoyed both the front and back patios. The sitting areas were ideal for conversations, and there's a full dining room available for extra space. The kitchen and bathrooms were impressively modern and clean, and the owner was very prompt with communications and instructions.
Additionally, the location was superb, with downtown Aiken offering easy access to restaurants and bars. I highly recommend the Wilcox Hotel bar/restaurant, Takosushi for its eclectic menu, and Tailgate Tavern for a great sports dive bar experience. The locals embraced seeing tourists and were helpful when asking recommendations.
We were in town for the Masters tournament in Augusta, just a quick 20-minute drive away. As avid golfers, my buddy and I took advantage of the Aiken Golf Club, only three minutes from the property. It's a hidden gem of a golf course designed by the legendary Donald Ross in 1912. The tree-lined layout provides a challenging and nostalgic experience, offering a glimpse into golf as it was played a century ago.
