"We had a great stay in Hauptmannsberg near Aidenbach in the lovingly refurbished farmhouse. Although the house was a little more remote than we expected, we were able to visit nearby towns and cities easily. The neighbors were very nice. We bought eggs from one neighbor and another neighbor accepted a stroller which was lost at the airport. "It is a little ways out from Passau but it is walkable to town. The rooms were clean and spacious and there were a bunch of great amenities in the area. Athroom was great. Parking is a little tight but there is a public parking lot across the street. The edeka besides the hotel was great for getting drinks and snacks for our stay. "
