"The address given is not accurate and it took us ages to find, we had to hope that the host read the messages, he then gave us the address. This is listed as an English speaking host which is not accurate. We struggled to communicate. The place is advertised with a pool but this was out of bounds due to the drought, we understand this but we should have known before arrival. We had no hot water at all during our stay and we could not contact the host despite messaging and ringing the door...

"We had a lovely holiday here as a family with our two small dogs, The accommodation is spacious and excellent. There are several places to eat in the garden which has beautiful flowers.There is an easy walk to the beach and a slightly more challenging walk to Collioure, which we loved. The shop in the adjacent campsite is very good. The garden was safe and secure for our dogs but there isn't a fence around the pool or a pool cover. "

"Nice little property. We appreciated that the space was on two floors. The huge advantage of the property is it’s location: 10min walk to amazing beaches and a short distance to amazing Collioure."

"Lovely stay. Eloi is a superb host, for whom nothing seemed too much trouble. The property is in a superb location, with fabulous views over the mountain to the border with Spain. Privacy is guaranteed, but you do have to enjoy isolation, as the nearest shops and bars are a hair-raising 25 minute drive up and down the mountain on a very narrow, twisty road. "We were stunned by the spacious and tidy rooms. Kitchens were very well equipped (better than we ever encountered in many other apartments we visited with this group of friends + kids). "My wife Jo and I spent a very pleasant ten days at Mas Santol. The gite is very beautiful, in a great location not far from the charming small town of Ceret. We explored the area and also went further afield, to the beach at Le Racoul and into the mountains of Prats-de-Mollo. Martine and Serge were very nice to deal with. "We absolutely loved our stay at Mas Albas. It was absolutely perfect for 3 families - the pool (excellent for water volleyball) and football pitch were brilliant. Well equipped kitchen etc and thank you for the delicious cheese. Quiet and beautiful. 5*!"
